The following is a small scene of notes...

What a bother...
Looking at the last three kids left in the classroom, and then glancing at the street outside where the rain was pouring down, the young female teacher of Bridge Public School asked sowhat helplessly:
"William, where is your family’s servant?"
"That’s a difficult question to answer."
William frowned as he heard the question, then paused from tracing the map of the Northern Principality and looked up seriously, saying:
"Teacher, if by ’servant’ you an soone who takes care of household chores, then the closest we have to that in our house recently would be lanie who’s had all her pocket money confiscated."
"Uh... That’s not what I ant."
The young female teacher was montarily stunned, then reorganized her words with a patient smile:
"What I ant to ask is, since it’s raining today, about what ti the person responsible for picking you up from your house might arrive?"
"Usually it’s Anna who picks us up, but today she might be a little late."
lanie, who was flipping through an account book next to them, blinked her big eyes and answered:
"Whenever it rains, Grandpa John’s leg hurts, and the top floor of the apartnt leaks too. She probably has to help lay the waterproof tarp for Grandpa John before she can co to pick us up."
"What about Ellie..."
"Ellie’s mom is on a business trip, so she’s temporarily staying at our place. Her mom can’t co either."
Is that so? Then we just have to keep waiting...
After sighing in her heart, the female teacher had to accept the fact that she would be working overti without pay today. But as a teacher at a top public school, she quickly adjusted her mood and, like she had done countless tis in comforting other kids in the past, softly asked:
"What about playing a little ga with the teacher while we wait for the rain to stop?"
"Sure."
Nodding steadily, William put down his pen and said with a hint of sympathy:
"If there’s no one to pick you up, and you’re afraid of being alone in the classroom, we don’t mind keeping you company for a bit longer."
"Ah... Well, thank you so much for that..."
Amused yet grateful for William’s kindness, the female teacher had a sudden idea. Looking at the three notorious first-grade troublemakers before her, she rummaged through the desk and found three shiny red apples, cheerfully suggesting:
"How about this, whoever likes the teacher can take an apple... Does anyone like Ms. Lisa?"
"I like!"
Mouth watering at the sight of apples rarely seen in early spring, lanie’s eyes lit up. She didn’t hesitate to tilt her head with a sweet smile and grab one.
"Ms. Lisa is so generous! I like Ms. Lisa almost as much as Anna, about 22.3%!"
"Ah... Thank you for liking , lanie..."
But... how did you co up with such a precise percentage?
"I... I like Ms. Lisa too..."
Beside her, Ellie tugged at the wide-brimd hat on her head. Because her little feet couldn’t reach the ground while sitting on the chair, her toes unconsciously drew inward. Then, a bit shyly, she lowered her head and said:
"I don’t know how much in percentage, but Ms. Lisa is very gentle and always kind to ... I like Ms. Lisa."
Oh... My little Ellie angel, the teacher likes you too!
Moved, Ms. Lisa picked up the red apple and placed it into Ellie’s slightly flushing little hand. She was completely healed and looked expectantly at the silent William.
Noticing the female teacher’s gaze, William looked up at her for a mont before shaking his head with a small, tight-lipped expression.
"No thanks, I don’t like Ms. Lisa."
"..."
o(╥﹏╥)o
"Why... why? Is it because Ms. Lisa isn’t mature enough?"
"No."
Shaking his head slightly, William pointed at the last remaining apple, calmly saying:
"There are only three apples in total. If I also liked Ms. Lisa, what would you eat then?"
"Ssss..."
