Luis didn’t expect such luck after being blown away by the wind.
He found a spirit. It seed to want to escape because the lion, which was its nest, was helpless.
In addition, the spirit looked different from the usual ones.
Although he had only seen a spirit in person once, he had seen videos and photos of spirits many tis.
This Spirit was actually larger than most, about twice the size.
Moreover, it had a pair of wings that allowed it to fly through the air.
On its transparent, luminous body, Luis saw five elents: fire, lightning, wind, earth, and water.
They seed to undergo shape-shifting transformations, sotis becoming snakes, sotis eagles, sotis lions, and even occasionally mountains and oceans.
Perhaps it has the ability to shape elents into specific forms when it sees those elents constantly changing shape.
However, it possessed all five elents simultaneously.
Luis couldn’t help but suspect that the spirit was a Tier 3 Spirit.
After erging from the lion’s mouth, the spirit began to fly.
Whoosh!
Luis quickly transford into the Death Knight King and then sent a soul chain toward the spirit.
In his opinion, a soul chain was the most suitable tool for capturing a spirit, as spirits share similarities with souls.
Shua!
The spirit was slightly off guard, allowing the soul chain to wrap around its body.
He then pulled it towards him and the spirit was completely drawn to him, indicating that it might also be a soul.
With its wings unable to move, it was very easy for Luis to pull the spirit towards him.
He then grabbed it with his hands before returning to human form and opening his mouth to swallow the spirit.
His anima tried to pull the spirit away, but then he was taken aback.
The spirit seed too large for his mouth; he felt he couldn’t swallow it.
As he forced it, he felt his throat would tear.
"Damn it!" He coughed and was forced to stop.
Though it was said that swallowing the second spirit would be harder, failure was rare if it was only the second one. It was just more difficult. Even the third Spirit, most people managed to swallow it. How could he fail to swallow the second Spirit?
Luis wondered if he lacked determination.
Of course, he didn’t believe he lacked determination.
"Keep it for now," he said, moving the Spirit into his Dinsion Artifact so it couldn’t escape.
He needed to find out why he couldn’t swallow the Spirit.
After that, he returned to the real world, appearing on a street.
Velos 32 had naturally avoided destruction, and a monster that had almost arrived had been kicked away by him before it could get close.
However, Luis could sense a tense aura emanating from the city.
The unexpected disaster that had caused the deaths of many Level C Awakener clearly left the empire in turmoil.
They could be considered to have suffered significant losses.
Luis wondered if he needed to return to the city.
However, after so thought, he eventually decided to go back, boarding a bus heading toward the city.
The activities of the citizens appeared normal, with no signs of chaos.
Of course, no one was aware that many Awakener had been killed. This was only known to the Awakener who witnessed it, and they seed to be forbidden from discussing it.
Luis wouldn’t be surprised if the empire decided to keep this a secret, as it could fuel resistance among the people of Velos.
In the city, Luis didn’t have a specific purpose.
He entered a luxurious café on the side of the street, sat alone, and ordered a sweet milk coffee while opening his phone.
He wanted to ask Alice about the spirit he had obtained, but he was a bit hesitant.
It was indeed a bit difficult to say, but he then rembered Isadonna.
That woman was his prisoner; perhaps it would be easier to discuss this with her.
He didn’t believe she wouldn’t give him any answers.
After deciding that, he opened his robot cara again.
The woman was still reading a book and seed to have finished two books, but there were still quite a few books on the table.
They were all old books, left behind by Luis’ grandfather.
So were novels, but most were history books.
Isadonna naturally realized he was watching her.
"What do you want to ask?" she said, looking at the robot cara.
Luis rolled his eyes at that, not expecting her to guess that he wanted to ask her.
Because of that, he would go straight to the core question.
"Tell , are there any specific requirents to rge with a Tier 3 Spirit?" he asked.
Unfortunately, information like this was hard to find online because so few people had managed to find a Tier 3 Spirit.
Isadonna’s eyebrows raised slightly at the question.
She seed to be wondering if he had obtained a Tier 3 Spirit.
Even she considered this to be surprising.
Of course, she wouldn’t ask Luis a question that would make her seem curious about him.
"You must first reach Level B. If you’re still below that, your body is too weak for a Tier 3 Spirit unless you have a special body," she replied.
This finally enlightened Luis.
He then turned off his robot’s cara, not wanting to speak further with Isadonna.
His eyes glanced at his statistics, realizing he still needed a significant number of Battle Points to advance to Level B.
Of course, he didn’t expect to advance to Level B right away just because there was an opportunity.
’But huh, I haven’t collected a single material to create the Giant Shadow Body,’ he thought.
Four out of the seven materials could be obtained easily, but three of them he still had to search for, and so far, he hadn’t found any signs of them.
So far, he hadn’t gone on any serious adventures like visiting dangerous places in Apocalypse World; he’d just been wandering aimlessly, so it was unlikely he’d find what he was looking for.
With so much on his mind, the cup of coffee he’d ordered was finished quickly.
’I should head back to Velos 33 now,’ he thought as he stood up.
He had run out of goals in this city, and the city was too barren for him.
After that, he returned to the bus terminal, boarded the flying bus to go back to Velos 33.
The journey ho felt short to him. Without realizing it, he had returned to his hotown.
After getting off the bus, he headed to his school.
His arrival at the school caught the attention of the students because of what he had done yesterday.
They discussed him but only whispered among themselves. No one dared to speak about him too loudly.
Apparently, the registration for the study tour to Velos 1 had been opened by the teachers.
Anyone who wanted to join had to pay 4,000 Dollars.
Before becoming an Awakener, that amount was too much for Luis, but now he could pay it with his own money.
However, he didn’t see Alice anywhere in the school.
He wondered where she had gone.
"Luis!" Suddenly, his na was called, and he found that it was Thomas along with his gang mbers.
They had just co out of the Awakener Extracurricular Room.
Luis also saw Milo among them, who looked vengeful toward him.
"Thomas!" Luis greeted him with a faint smile.
He thought he was a friendly guy, so he didn’t feel as wary of him anymore.
Of course, the most important reason he didn’t need to be wary was because he was much stronger than him.
Besides, his mother was the matriarch of the Long Night Organization.
"Do you want to co? We’re heading to Abyys Den," Thomas said as he approached him.
Luis was unsure how to respond since he was being invited to the casino again. After all, casinos weren’t places he was interested in.
He didn’t want to gamble, which could lead to a gambling habit.
Without realizing it, he started shaking his head.
Thomas was a little disappointed by his response, but he kept smiling.
"Alright, we can go another ti," he said.
Before he could take a step, he was startled by the arrival of a 12-year-old boy with bright blonde hair.
The boy ran toward them with a somber expression.
"Luis, where’s my cousin?" he asked, making his intention clear from the mont he called out Luis’s na.
However, no one knew who he was, so no one knew that the cousin he was referring to was Isadonna.
Luis also didn’t expect the boy to co to his school to ask about Isadonna.
It seed that one day of being missing had left her family confused because they couldn’t contact her either.
"Why are you asking ?" Luis asked back, pretending not to know anything.
"She disappeared after eting you. Do you want to say you have nothing to do with this?" Zane replied.
"How would I know? She wanted to catch but failed. I don’t know where she went after that," Luis answered, causing Zane to look at him with narrowed eyes.
From his perspective, accusing him of being responsible for Isadonna’s disappearance didn’t make sense because, in his eyes, Isadonna was far stronger than he was.
