Chapter 783: Chapter Seventy-Seven: Four Imperial Spirit Realms

Although Tang Luo had anticipated a fight, he never expected that it would all start because of greed for money and his foreign identity. It was clear that the middle-aged n before him had completely forgotten about the young guard who had died earlier and were solely focused on seizing his jade coins and capturing him to question his origins.

As the mysterious symbols on the back of the three n’s hands lit up, the spiritual power of water in the universe suddenly beca extrely active. It dominantly dismissed all other kinds of spiritual power, transforming the forest into a desolate place dominated by a single type of spiritual power.

The temperature plumted rapidly, and a thick layer of ice ford over every object. The bone-chilling cold attacked Tang Luo from all directions, soon encasing him in a layer of ice an inch thick.

Despite the freezing cold encasing his body, Tang Luo stared expressionlessly at the three approaching middle-aged n and asked: “Has anyone ever told you not to get too close to a body cultivator?”

The three n sneered. They found this young man’s bravado ludicrous. Despite encased in solid ice, he still dared to talk tough. The leading middle-aged man reached out to slap Tang Luo and snap him back to reality. But as he raised his hand, he saw the young man open his mouth.

Was he begging for rcy? Too late!

The leading middle-aged man laughed cruelly. He saw a blast of air shaped like an arrow shoot from the youth’s mouth, slicing through the air like a streak of light. Suddenly, a severed arm flew up before his eyes—an arm that was mysteriously familiar. Then ca a severe pain that spread from his right shoulder throughout his entire body, causing him to collapse to the ground.

“Crack!”

The ice column, as hard as refined iron, exploded into pieces. Tang Luo flashed two palm strikes at the two remaining middle-aged n. With a thunderous roar, two more severed arms flew up in the air.

Within a breath’s ti, all three n had lost their arms.

Tang Luo brushed off the remaining ice attached to him and said to the three middle-aged n, who were collapsed on the ground in defeat: “Alright, now we can calmly and rationally discuss matters regarding this Spirit Realm. I have many, many things that I want to know. I hope you guys can cooperate and avoid angering .”

Though the spiritual power of the young guard and the middle-aged n were stored on the back of their right hand, specifically within those mysterious symbols. This intrigued Tang Luo imnsely.

Despite the diocre cultivation of the three n, their control over the water elent spirit power even surpassed that of top powerhouses in the Fierce Realm. They had achieved the level of a Water Spirit Body. But after their arms were severed, they seed to have lost all ability to control their spiritual power. Even their internal spiritual power was dissipating uncontrollably.

This was too weird.

The three n slumped on the ground, exchanging clueless looks. Regret filled their faces, especially that of the leading man.

If only he stayed at ho and continued to slack off as usual. Then he wouldn’t have been alerted by the divine shrine in the village or approached by the young man who would cause him to lose all of his cultivation.

But it’s always better to survive. He was not planning on defying Tang Luo as he might get captured again with ease and lose his life in the process.

“My discernnt was poor. Senior, feel free to ask anything and I will tell you everything I know. Please spare my life!”

“Yes, we insulted you unknowingly, Great One. We’re blind!”

The sight of the three n, begging for rcy while clutching their severed arms, left Tang Luo both amused and annoyed. He had t many warriors from the Fierce Realm before, but none of them were as spineless as these three.

Even though the three n were stronger than the young guard Tang Luo had first encountered, they didn’t even match up to him when it ca to integrity. This made Tang Luo look back at the dead body of the young guard, shaking his head in bewildernt. He wondered how possibly these spineless n could form a divine soul.

“Alright, alright, I understand.” Tang Luo waved his hand and after a brief mont of contemplation, he asked, “Tell about the situation in this Spirit Realm, the Aquatic Tribe, the Sacred Altar, and the Divine Jade. Oh, and explain the symbols on the back of your hands.” He pointed at the lead middle-aged man,”You go first.”

The man nad Gong Shu was overjoyed. He began to babble about the Four Imperial Spirit Realms, his deanor in stark contrast to the courageous warriors Tang Luo had envisioned.

anwhile, deep within Kunwu Divine Mountain at the Trial Cliff, a sudden influx of challengers appeared.

It had been less than half a day into the three-day trial when people began to activate their jade coins for teleportation. Rather than gaining jade coins, they had lost half of them.

When they were told they couldn’t return to the cave to continue the trial, they went mad.

“Why? The door to the Minor Spiritual Realm disappeared. I just wanted to test if the jade coin’s teleportation feature still worked. There’s still ti left. Why can’t we continue the trial?”

“Yeah, as soon as I entered, I encountered a fire elental who claid to be a guard of the Holy Altar. After defeating him, a warrior from the Fierce Realm who had an earth elent started chasing . Who could endure such a trial for three days!”

“I was chased by a fire elental. His control over fire was almost god-like, he was akin to a fire beast. He could turn a desert into a lava pit. If I hadn’t activated my jade coin, I would have died!”

Amid their complaints and discussions, the attendants silently listened with a knowing smile. After their discussion ended, one of the attendants calmly said, “If you have any complaints about the results, please take them up with Master Wei. I am rely a servant and do not have the authority to alter the conditions of the trial.”

All the warriors were rendered speechless. They might have been articulate in front of the servants but none of them had the courage to take their complaints to Master Wei.

A while later, a few more people appeared on the cliff face where the Divine Array was engraved. When they learned that they’d been eliminated, they were utterly disappointed.

Even those who managed to reach the second stage of the trial were having a hard ti – even if they were approaching transcendence. The warriors who launched their jade coins recklessly because of the peculiarities of the Minor Spiritual Realm were scared.

After all, a fixed door to the Chuan Realm was unusual, and they had been accustod to seeing these doors in fixed spaces that did not change. The sudden disappearance of the gate after entering the Minor Spiritual Realm was unheard of.

Moreover, they had run into a strange altar and a Spirit Body warrior who claid to be a guard. Even though they knew it was just a trial, they couldn’t help but fear the inability to return if the teleportation feature of the jade coin beca ineffective.

With their attention divided, not even a fraction of their power could be utilized. Initiating a jade coin beca a logical choice when encountering formidable opponents.

However, upon reflection, even though the warriors in the trials had Spirit Bodies, their martial arts and agility seed primitive and crude in comparison to their superior control over the Spirit arts.
