"Junior Brother Tian, I don’t know what you’re afraid of. Senior Brother is here just to discuss sothing with you."

Shang Yu’s previous assessnt was correct; he couldn’t match Tian Lin with just the Escape Technique. The longer he chased Tian Lin, the more the distance between them increased.

"If Senior Brother truly has good intentions, why not let return to Wenda Sect first? If there are any other issues, we can correspond by letter."

"Are you joking? Discussing matters by letter would an exposing secrets to the public! Tian Lin, if you don’t stop, don’t bla for turning hostile."

Shang Yu seed genuinely angry, but how could Tian Lin possibly stop?

"Since you’re forcing to act, I won’t hold back."

As soon as he finished speaking, the flying locusts in the clouds suddenly turned to dust.

A shower of dust fell from the sky, revealing the Sword Qi within the clouds.

This Sword Qi spread out like a tidal wave in all directions.

Tian Lin’s Escape Technique was fast, but the pursuit speed of the Sword Qi was not slow either.

The Sword Qi leveled the mountain ahead, instantly appearing behind Tian Lin.

A sense of danger lood over Tian Lin’s heart; he dared not be careless. He finally had to stop, turning mid-air to execute the Buddha and Demon Freedom Skill.

With a ’clang,’ the Sword Qi struck Tian Lin, cutting through his skin that glowed with golden light.

Fortunately, Shang Yu didn’t seem to intend to kill, and the Sword Qi was partially exhausted midway. Thus, while Tian Lin was injured, he hadn’t lost his ability to move.

Seeing that his halt allowed Shang Yu to close the distance, Tian Lin turned and used Wind Escape to flee again.

This ti, however, he no longer flew into the sky but darted towards the mountains below.

The mountains were full of Evil Spirits, which might hinder his escape but also helped obscure Shang Yu’s sight.

Indeed, when Shang Yu reached the mountain peak, he saw only Evil Spirits everywhere below, but no sign of Tian Lin.

"Junior Brother, you’re really disobedient!"

Shang Yu’s face showed little anger; he simply swayed his sword sheath again. The sword sheath instantly unleashed a sword wave, cutting through the dense forest like tofu and killing the Evil Spirits everywhere.

Soon, only a one-eyed Evil Spirit stood there. Shang Yu looked at the one-eyed Evil Spirit and said, "Junior Brother, do you think I can’t find you if you take on the appearance of an Evil Spirit?"

Indeed, the ’one-eyed’ Evil Spirit seed to have its identity exposed and vanished into the ground via Earth Escape.

Shang Yu frowned; he himself did not know Earth Escape Skill. While his Divine Sense could see dozens of ters underground, using Divine Sense to explore was slower than directly locking onto a target with sight.

"Still so stubborn?"

There was already a trace of impatience in Shang Yu’s brows. He patted his Storage Bag, abandoning his original sword and directly taking out an ordinary sword.

This sword was one he brought from Yulong Continent; the material wasn’t particularly good, but it had accompanied him for many years.

He unsheathed it and said coldly, "Five Elents Technique, first move, Kinship Killing!"

Tian Lin had a ’master-servant’ relationship with him and was once his fellow disciple, so they could be reluctantly considered kin.

He threw the sword, and it instantly embedded into the ground.

Shang Yu didn’t need to chase Tian Lin’s trail; he rely followed the direction the sword flew.

The sword didn’t know Escape Techniques, but its sword aura traveled through rock and soil underground like a fish in water, unhindered.

Underground, Tian Lin didn’t know what was happening above, only that the sense of danger grew closer.

In the soil, his vision was also obstructed, so he simply drilled out of the ground.

As soon as he erged, a large hand grabbed his head.

Startled, Tian Lin saw that the one grabbing him was a Walking Corpse and felt less afraid.

He countered by grabbing the Walking Corpse’s head and shoving it underground.

With a ’puff,’ the sword aura pierced through the Walking Corpse’s body, followed by the sword erging from it.

Tian Lin’s face changed, and he retreated, raising his hand to cover the flying sword with soil.

In an instant, several Sealing Earth appeared before Tian Lin.

However, the Sealing Earth Skill’s Sealing Earth couldn’t stop the sword, splitting into two under the sword’s penetration.

"Junior Brother Tian, stop struggling. Unless you beg for rcy and surrender, this sword won’t rest until it kills you."

Shang Yu’s voice grew nearer as the sword finally broke through the Sealing Earth, cutting off Tian Lin’s arm.

"Is it the aura, soul, or appearance?"

Tian Lin furrowed his brows, puzzled how the sword was locking onto him.

But he imdiately ruled out appearance, as he was in the form of a one-eyed Evil Spirit.

"I must see what this is about!"

Though his right hand was severed, Tian Lin took out two Papern with his left.

While in Fuzhou, he hadn’t used Papern; now, with no one to deploy them, he opted to use real Papern.

These two Papern were folded by him and didn’t serve as substitutes. However, they contained parts of his soul, aura, and even flesh and blood.

The Papern dropped to the ground, instantly transforming into Tian Lin’s likeness. These two Papern not only perfectly resembled Tian Lin in appearance but even had cultivation equal to the Foundation Establishnt Realm.

"Buddha and Demon Freedom Skill!"

One of the Papern shouted, then struck a palm with a Buddha hand seal towards the flying sword.

"Sealing Soil Technique!"

Both Papern moved to block the flying sword while Tian Lin escaped into the ground again.

"It works!"

Tian Lin’s heart was overjoyed, knowing the Papern couldn’t withstand the flying sword’s attack. But when one was cut down, the sword indeed stopped pursuing him.

"Think you can escape like this?"

On the ground, Shang Yu, seeing the shredded Paperman, struck down the other with a palm.

He grabbed the sword again, tapping it on the ground, sending it back after Tian Lin.

The two fought intermittently, their speed unrelenting. As dusk approached, Tian Lin finally stopped before a waterfall.

"Not running anymore?"

Shang Yu’s face was a little pale, having repeatedly used the Five Elents Technique and being worn out by Tian Lin.

anwhile, Tian Lin was in terrible condition.

Not only had he lost both arms, but his left leg was also shorter. Now standing on one foot, he looked as comical as he could be.

"Senior Brother, you’ve held back so many tis; it seems your sincerity is genuine. I’ve thought it over and agree we should sit down and have a good talk."

Shang Yu snorted coldly, "If I truly wanted to kill you, you’d have been dead long ago."

After saying this, he frowned slightly, glancing towards the waterfall.

Beside the waterfall, an incredibly beautiful woman was bathing.

This woman’s appearance was quite strange, especially given Tian Lin’s choice to run nowhere else but to her side.

However, Shang Yu was unafraid, holding an Immortal Sword, and though the woman had Nascent Soul cultivation, she was not his match.

"Alright, Junior Brother Tian, can you co with now!"

Though unafraid of the woman, Shang Yu wished to avoid trouble.

Unexpectedly, Tian Lin smiled and said, "Since Senior Brother wants a reunion, why not invite Sect Master Zhou too? We’re the only three who made it out of Yulong Continent alive. eting here today is surely a cause for celebration, isn’t it?"
