Evening.

Back at the apartnt, Lu Xuan received a call from Ji Xiuwen.

"In a couple of days, I’ll co to the city and treat you to a al."

Ji Xiuwen’s first words left Lu Xuan a bit puzzled.

However, he could tell that Ji Xiuwen was in a pretty good mood. Could it be that there’s been a breakthrough with work?

Thinking of this, Lu Xuan smiled and asked, "So happy, it must be sothing to do with work, right?"

"How did you know?"

Ji Xiuwen’s tone was full of surprise.

"How did I know..."

Lu Xuan smirked, "Because aside from work, I can’t think of any other possibility."

"Hehe..."

Ji Xiuwen chuckled.

"Have you changed positions?" Lu Xuan inquired further.

"Yes, and no."

Ji Xiuwen thought for a mont and said, "Well, I don’t know quite how to explain it to you right now, but we’ll chat in person when I treat you to that al, and we can also talk about your stuff."

"There’s nothing much to say about ." Lu Xuan shrugged, unconcerned.

In fact, he was quite satisfied with his current job.

Hu iqiao, the director, thought highly of him and gave him a lot of freedom, almost granting any request he had. It was a treatnt he might not even get in a big hospital.

Maybe the salary would be higher and the social status would be greater, but the freedom in his work would be significantly reduced.

Sotis Lu Xuan even thought that maybe staying at the Health Center might not be such a bad choice.

As for revitalizing Traditional Chinese dicine, that was not sothing he could achieve alone.

Lu Xuan was also quite conflicted, unsure of how to decide.

He simply didn’t bother thinking about it anymore, figuring he would cross that bridge when he got to it, and he would know the right path when he reached it.

Hearing this, Ji Xiuwen said nothing.

They had been classmates for six years, and he knew Lu Xuan’s character too well.

Both of them had similar personalities, the kind who wouldn’t easily accept fate and were extraordinarily stubborn.

Though Lu Xuan said there was nothing much to say, in his heart he probably wasn’t content just staying at the Health Center, getting run over by others, working tirelessly every day without gaining any clinical experience, let alone interacting with patients.

"Xuan~"

"I understand, I won’t bring it up again, but rest assured, once I’ve steadied myself in the new place, I’ll definitely help open up the channels and get you transferred over."

Ji Xiuwen promised earnestly.

Lu Xuan paused for a mont, realizing it, and while feeling touched, he said directly, "No need, my job is quite good now. I was even thinking of having you co over here the other day. Since you’ve found sothing better, I won’t ntion it again."

Go to your place?

Lu Xuan’s mouth sure is firm!

But the more Lu Xuan insisted, the more determined Ji Xiuwen beca to get along well with that Dr. Lu and open up the channels once he reached the new place.

"By the way, which hospital are you transferring to this ti?"

"Is it the District Hospital of Traditional Chinese dicine or the City Hospital of Traditional Chinese dicine?"

"The City Hospital of Traditional Chinese dicine? Lu Xuan, you’re really looking up to too much."

Ji Xiuwen said, sowhat speechless, "If we could get into the City Hospital of Traditional Chinese dicine, the County Hospital of Traditional Chinese dicine wouldn’t have been snatched by soone else. This ti, it’s actually just good luck; they urgently needed to hire soone, so I managed to get in. Otherwise, I’d probably be stuck in the pharmacy at the County Hospital of Traditional Chinese dicine."

Not the City Hospital of Traditional Chinese dicine?

Then it’s the District Hospital of Traditional Chinese dicine.

Lu Xuan congratulated, "Xiuwen, congratulations on that. After enduring for half a year, you’ve finally made it."

"I haven’t even interacted with patients yet, don’t ntion making it. Let’s talk about it when we have the ability to see patients independently."

"There will be opportunities."

"I also believe there will be opportunities."

Ji Xiuwen agreed wholeheartedly, and then said, "I’m going to the city to rent a place this weekend. Starting work officially on Monday, let’s catch up then."

"Alright, let’s talk then."

"It’s settled then."

After agreeing on everything, they hung up the phone.

"Talking to that Lu Xuan again?" seeing her son so happy, Li Qinlan couldn’t help but ask.

"Mm."

Ji Xiuwen nodded, "I plan to have a al with Xuan in a few days and discuss the job switch. Staying at the Health Center isn’t a long-term solution; if he could encounter a good doctor who’s willing to offer so advice, that wouldn’t be bad. But from his tone, although he always tells it’s nothing, I think it’s just a brave face."

"So what do you plan to do?"

Ji Xiuwen thought for a mont, "First, I’ll stabilize my own work and then get along with the doctors at the Health Center to see if I can transfer Lu Xuan over here."

Li Qinlan nodded, "That’s possible, but you shouldn’t rush it. Don’t let them think you’re full of yourself, wanting to bring others over shortly after you settled in."

"Mom, I know."

Hearing this, Li Qinlan didn’t say much more. She understood her son’s temperant; he tends to be careful and is unlikely to take actions he isn’t confident about.

After finishing the call with Ji Xiuwen, Lu Xuan remained silent for a long ti.

The Health Center was looking to hire an assistant; he actually hoped Ji Xiuwen could co help him, considering how displeased Ji Xiuwen was in the County Hospital’s pharmacy. It would be better to have him here, helping each other grow.

However, that was before.

Nowadays, with a better option for Ji Xiuwen, asking him to co to the Health Center seed unreasonable.

Bringing it up would only place him in a difficult position.

In such a case, Ji Xiuwen would find it challenging to decide whether to co or not, as we can’t just ask him to give up the position at the District Hospital of Traditional Chinese dicine and co to this almost deserted Health Center.

Besides, Hu iqiao already recruited soone, so we can hardly ask her not to co, can we?
