"The Dr. Lu you ntioned, is he the one consulting at the Health Center on Qiu City Street?"

Fan Yazi turned her head to ask.

Bao Weiya grinned: "Are you a patient of Dr. Lu?"

Bao Weiya knew a bit about Lu Xuan’s situation. She had heard from Director Wu Dingzhong that although Lu Xuan was highly skilled, his reputation at United South Chinese dicine Association was not significant, or rather, non-existent. Few knew about him, or even no one at all.

Logically, those patients who co to United South Chinese dicine Association and would register to see Lu Xuan are practically none.

Added to the fact that Lu Xuan is quite young and not well-known, naturally, patients wouldn’t sign up for his consultations.

Unless patients from the Health Center learn that Lu Xuan is consulting here, it’s only then it might be possible.

Unexpectedly, Bao Weiya’s confident inquiry was t with Fan Yazi shaking her head: "No, I just heard a friend ntion Dr. Lu before. I rember Dr. Lu hadn’t consulted here at United South Chinese dicine Association before, right?"

"No, he hadn’t."

Bao Weiya patiently explained: "Dr. Lu was just invited by us last week. To put it accurately, this is his second ti consulting here, so not many people know him. Additionally, since Dr. Lu didn’t do much promotion at the Health Center, the patients over there are unaware, and naturally, few have registered for his services here.

If you want to see him, I suggest you go up and ask first. If Dr. Lu says he can take your case, you can then register downstairs, and it will be fine all the sa. There aren’t many people in the morning anyway, and it’s only in the afternoon that so patients registered for his services online."

Hearing this, Fan Yazi quickly expressed her gratitude to Bao Weiya and, after speaking with the elderly lady, dashed up the stairs to the second floor.

Room 249.

Lu Xuan had returned from Wu Dingzhong’s office and drank a few cups of black tea. He was feeling much more revitalized, as he hadn’t slept much the previous night, and it was past the ti when he’d normally feel sleepy. With no patients at the mont, Lu Xuan took the opportunity to close the door and delve into dical books.

He specifically requested two books on the Fire God School from Wu Dingzhong.

Though not a Traditional Chinese dicine doctor, or even a doctor at all, Wu Dingzhong’s office had a substantial collection of dical books, especially Chinese dicine books, enough to amaze anyone. Upon spotting "True dical Principles" and "dical Mastery" by Zheng Qin’an, Lu Xuan’s interest was piqued, and his exhaustion vanished completely, leaving him energized and focused.

Just as Lu Xuan was engrossed in studying "True dical Principles" by Zheng Qin’an, suddenly there was a knock on the door. Without looking up, Lu Xuan called out, "Co in."

Fan Yazi gently pushed the door open, seeing inside a young man in a white coat holding and reading a book. She softly inquired, "Are you Dr. Lu?"

Lu Xuan lifted his head and saw a woman in her fifties standing at the door; he asked, "Ma’am, are you looking for ?"

"Are you Dr. Lu Xuan?"

"Yes, I am Lu Xuan."

Seeing that the young man reading inside was indeed Lu Xuan, Fan Yazi imdiately walked in with a smile and asked, "Dr. Lu, I have sothing to consult with you first."

"Go ahead."

"The elderly lady at ho has a lot of blisters on her back and right rib area, which is shingles. I want to ask if you are adept at treating this ailnt. If so, I can go downstairs to register and bring the elderly lady up."

"Shingles?"

"Yes, shingles."

"I can treat it; go ahead and register. By the way, I presu the elderly lady must be advanced in age?" Lu Xuan glanced at Fan Yazi, who appeared to be around fifty. At this age, the elderly lady at ho could be seventy or eighty years old.

Fan Yazi smiled and replied, "She is over eighty."

"The elderly lady is as long-lived as South Mountain!"

Lu Xuan quickly offered his congratulations but then added, "How about not letting the elderly lady co up? Once you have registered, I can go down and check her pulse to assess her condition. That way, the elderly lady doesn’t have to climb up and down, which is difficult for her."

Fan Yazi had always heard Lv Huilan describe how kind and friendly Lu Xuan was, treating his patients like family and friends. She initially thought Lv Huilan was exaggerating—how could any doctor be that nice? Even if they were kind, not to such an extent!

Yet seeing it firsthand this ti, Fan Yazi realized Lv Huilan’s words were true.

So kind!

So courteous!

Courteous to the point where she was sowhat unadapted, continually shaking her head: "No need, no need. After I register, I’ll bring the elderly lady up. Although she is a bit old, she’s still quite strong. At ho, she lives in a multi-story building and climbs up and down daily, so this one floor is nothing for her."

After finishing her words, Fan Yazi ran outside the consulting room.

Watching her dash out like a rabbit, Lu Xuan raised his hand to call her back but decided against it. The first floor had a registration hall and a pharmacy, with lots of people. Considering it was Saturday, even more people were present. It was truly a crowd akin to a sea of people.

If he were to treat her on the first floor, it wouldn’t matter much to him. But primarily, the elderly lady deserved privacy and dignity, it wasn’t appropriate to have her expose herself in front of so many people.

Every elderly person deserves their respect.

With this thought, Lu Xuan turned and returned to his seat.

Not long after he sat down, Fan Yazi led the elderly lady to the consulting room door.

Upon seeing a young man sitting inside the consulting room, the elderly lady was startled: "Yazi, what is going on here?"
