Lu Xuan sighed, and while performing acupuncture, he said, "Actually, ergency treatnts in traditional Chinese dicine have not disappeared. Take a stroke for example; the understanding in traditional Chinese dicine is different from Western dicine. In Chinese dicine, the occurrence of a stroke is classified into four situations.

Firstly, when righteousness is insufficient, the ridians are empty, and wind evil invades. Due to deficiency in qi, the body’s defenses are weak, wind evil opportunistically enters the ridians, obstructing the flow of qi and blood, leading to insufficient nourishnt of the muscles and ridians; or when patients have an excess of phlegm and the external wind moves phlegm and dampness through the ridians, causing symptoms such as deviated mouth and eyes, and hemiplegia.

Secondly, overwork, physical weakness after illness, aging, and yin-yang imbalance can lead to deficiency in essence and blood. The liver and kidneys lack yin, leading to a hyperactive liver. When the yin-yang balance is severely disrupted, coupled with emotional extres, excessive fatigue, or indulgence in alcohol and other factors, it causes an insufficiency of yin at the bottom, an exuberant liver yang, the transformation of yang into wind, leading to upward surge of qi and blood, and dizziness, often resulting in a stroke.

Thirdly, irregular diet and internal injury from overwork weaken the spleen’s ability to transport, resulting in accumulation of dampness and generation of phlegm, blockage of ridians by phlegm heat, and confusion of the senses; or when there is inherent liver yang excess, the liver contradicts and harms the spleen, leading to poor transportation by the spleen, generation of phlegm, liver fire internally burning and turning fluid into phlegm, causing liver wind mixed with phlegm fire, suddenly surging through the ridians and confusing the senses, resulting in sudden fainting and paralysis. This is what "Danxi Heart thod · Stroke" refers to as ’damp earth generates phlegm, phlegm generates heat, heat generates wind.’

Fourthly, when the five emotions are too extre, excessive heart fire, or sudden anger harms the liver, causing violent movent of liver yang and emotional stirring of heart fire, the interaction of wind and fire, leading to upward surge of heated qi and blood, resulting in dizziness and sudden collapse, causing this condition.

And his condition is the fourth type, often caused by worry and anger, an excess of liver yang, qi counterflow, upward surge to the brain, and blockage of the senses."

At this point, Lu Xuan pointed to the acupuncture points he was working on: "The Renzhong point is the eting point of the Du ridian and the Hand and Foot Yangming ridian; acupuncture can clear the Du ridian and awaken the senses;

The Twelve Jing Points, bloodletting can relieve blockage, open the senses, subdue wind, and relieve spasms; the Laogong point is the Ying point of the Pericardium ridian; acupuncture can clear the heart and open the senses; the Baihui point is the eting point of the Du ridian and the Three Yang ridians of Hand and Foot; acupuncture can awaken the brain and restore consciousness;

The Taichong point is the Shu point and Yuan point of the Liver ridian; acupuncture can relieve the liver and subdue wind; Hegu point is the Yuan point of the Large Intestine ridian; acupuncture can regulate qi and activate blood;

The Waiguan point is the Luo point of the Sanjiao ridian, connected to the Pericardium ridian of the Hand Jueyin, and is one of the Eight Confluence Points, communicating with the Yang Wei ridian; acupuncture can dispel wind and activate ridians; the Huantiao point is the eting point of the Foot Shaoyang Gallbladder ridian and the Foot Taiyang Bladder ridian, acupuncture can dispel wind evil, benefit the waist and knees; the Yanglingquan point is the He point of the Gallbladder ridian, and also the Muscle eting Point among the Eight Influential Points, acupuncture can relieve liver fire and relax the ridians;

The Juegu point is the Marrow eting Point among the Eight Influential Points; acupuncture can dispel wind, relieve fire, strengthen muscles, and strengthen bones. Acupuncturing these points according to the symptoms, with proper technique, can often achieve astounding effects."

What a spectacle to behold!

It truly was a spectacle to behold!

Ye Xiang’s eyes nearly popped out. What the hell was he saying?

Although he recognized every word, once they ford a sentence, he was amazed to find he did not understand at all, listening with a bewildered expression, yet vaguely feeling it was incredibly impressive.

But to say specifically what was impressive, truth be told, he couldn’t understand it.

"What did he just say?"

Standing next to Ye Xiang, Wu Liguo also looked incredulous. Could these words really be said so effortlessly? Even those impressive old traditional Chinese dicine doctors might not be able to do this, right?

He realized his phone was recording, and finally breathed a sigh of relief.

If he hadn’t recorded this, and his son found out, who knows what kind of father-son drama would unfold in the Wu family.

anwhile, Li Haoguo was astounded. Lu Xuan’s words really refreshed his understanding of traditional Chinese dicine.

Previously, in his impression, traditional Chinese dicine was about taking the pulse, looking at the tongue, asking the patient about symptoms, then prescribing a Chinese herbal dicine formula for the patient to take ho to boil or have it decocted at the hospital. He never thought there was so much sophistication in Chinese dicine diagnosis.

Even a stroke could be classified into several situations.

Different situations correspond to different treatnt thods.

In contrast, in Western dicine, a stroke is just a stroke, it’s all about lowering blood pressure and intracranial pressure, preventing brain bleeding, and in severe cases, surgically removing the clot.

"Is Dr. Lu really about the sa age as us? Why does it feel like he just has a youthful appearance, but is actually in his sixties or seventies already?"

A few interns were really a bit disheartened at this mont and felt a deep sense of frustration. Since graduation, they had always thought they were among the elite of their age group, but now they realized, compared with soone truly impressive, they were still far behind, not even on the sa level.

One of the interns saved the recorded video and casually sent it to the class group:

"Look, look, this is what a prodigy is like. In front of Dr. Lu, there’s practically no one among traditional Chinese dicine doctors of the sa age group who can compare."

Soon after he sent out the video, the group chat exploded.

"Damn! Who is this, speaking so profoundly, even as a traditional Chinese dicine graduate, I didn’t understand."

"Impressive!"

"You traitor, you’re not human, you betrayed us, we agreed to work together in the herbal pharmacy, yet you secretly went to find such a brilliant ntor for guidance.

"Thanks, buddy, for the Supre Heart thod, I’ll save it and study it carefully later."

The intern realized what was happening and quickly retracted the sent video: "Damn, don’t spread this around, I haven’t gotten Dr. Lu’s permission yet."
