Looking at the three goblins in front of him, Kael smiled as he honestly sohow still felt weird with how weak his current situation was.

Even though his current self was weak at the mont, coupled with the boost from the azure sword as well as his experience in combat, Kael was confident that it wouldn’t be a problem for him to face any opponent below First Echelon.

Because the difference between (Unranked–level 24) and (First Echelon–level 25) was massive despite them being only 1 level apart from each other.

The reason for that was because after soone was upgraded to the next rank, their stats would be increased massively to the point that even a few people in the level 24 wouldn’t be able to beat the weakest of the First Echelon.

Naturally, there would be exceptions, such as if they have extrely strong skills, high-level items, etc.

Needless to say, upgrading to the next rank itself wasn’t as easy as leveling up to the next level because every ti soone wanted to upgrade to the next rank, they were given a mission depending on the classes and options they chose.

And only if they completed the mission were they then being upgraded to the next rank.

Otherwise, they would be stuck in that rank and technically wouldn’t be able to beco stronger.

"Be careful!" The woman shouted when she saw the three goblins charge towards Kael, making him co back to his senses.

Kael exhaled calmly, his golden eyes narrowing slightly as he gripped the azure sword tightly. Without showing any signs of panic, he shifted his stance slightly and took a single step forward.

The sword swung gracefully in an effortless horizontal arc, slicing through the air without any excess movent. The sharp blade left behind a thin, shimring blue trail.

Three soft thuds could be heard one after another as the three goblins’ bodies stiffened abruptly mid-charge. They froze for a split second before their heads slid cleanly off their bodies and rolled onto the ground.

Blood sprayed briefly into the air, painting a grim picture on the ground before silence returned to the alley once again.

[Ding! You have killed Level 6 Goblin, obtaining 60% experience points and acquiring 1 Strength and 1 Physique.]

[Ding! You have killed Level 5 Goblin, obtaining 50% experience points and acquiring 1 Strength and 1 Agility]

[Ding! You have killed Level 5 Goblin, obtaining 50% experience points and acquiring 1 Physique and 1 Sense]

Kael flicked the blood off his sword before sheathing it calmly and moved towards the street as he wanted to lure more goblins, intending to level up faster since he didn’t have much ti now that he didn’t know his parent’s situation.

When he walked past the three goblins, he heard a few system notifications ring in his mind and imdiately opened his palm upwards and lifted it up as he used his [Resurrection of the Dead] skill.

[Ding! Resurrection of the Dead can be used on this target.]

[Ding! Extraction of the Dead can be used on this target.]

...

The reason why Kael chose to resurrect them instead of extracting them was because these low-level goblins probably would give him useless things and it would be such a waste since he knew that if he were to extract them, he couldn’t resurrect them afterwards.

Not only that, he wanted to test sothing regarding the undead space information in his status window.

However, Kael stopped for a second after he took a few more steps, as he was surprised when he heard another system notification.

[Ding! You have leveled up to level 2, obtaining 5 free stat points.]

[Ding! Due to your level that was higher than the skeleton goblin, your skeleton goblin has also leveled up to level 2.]

Kael was shocked when he looked at the translucent data in front of him. He hadn’t expected that the skeleton goblin just leveled up like that because his level was higher.

’Is it because the skeleton goblin is binded with the undead space?’ Kael thought to himself as he guessed that this might be the only plausible reason.

Otherwise, all of his undead would be at least in the sa level as him in the future, which would be too OP.

It wasn’t that he didn’t like it if it really happened, but it just didn’t make sense since he guessed that he could resurrect a bunch of undead, as he saw three skeleton goblins behind him.

One of the reasons why he wanted to resurrect them was also because of this, testing if he would be able to resurrect more since his undead space had been occupied with the first skeleton goblin.

Even though he had guessed that he would be able to resurrect them when he heard the notification if he wanted to resurrect them or extract them, he still wanted to confirm them since his knowledge about his new power was limited.

He then set aside his thoughts and imdiately ordered the three goblins, as he didn’t have all the ti in the world. "You three stay here and kill any monster that’s coming in this way."

Since his stats were much higher than before, the mont Kael was closer to the street, he heard more people’s screams and felt that death energy was thickening as the ti went by.

He then looked at his stats, intending to distribute his 5 free attributes as well as checking it since he wanted to take a closer look after he equipped the Azure Sword.

[Kael]

[Level]: 2 —> (30%)

[Free Stat Points]: 5

[Stats]: Strength: 29 ( 25) / Agility: 38 ( 35) / Physique: 24 ( 20) / Sense: 13 ( 20) / Mana: 17 ( 20) / Magic: 12 ( 20)

Looking at his stats, he felt satisfied and imdiately added the 5 free stat points to Physique, thinking that this was the best option in his current situation, as he needed more stamina to be able to fight in a long fight.

—> [A/N]: If you are wondering why the experience has only reached 30%, the answer is simple: as soone’s level increases, so do the requirents to level up. I hope you’ll enjoy this novel as much as I do
