89: 89.
Heavy firepower 89: 89.
Heavy firepower Death extinguishes life as surely as blowing out a lamp; after the physical body perishes, the Divine Soul fades like a wisp of smoke, vanishing into the world in the blink of an eye.
Lu Li imdiately understood why his previous attempts at Soul Extraction had failed.
At that mont, shouts ca from the communication device on the corpse:
“What’s happened?”
“First team, second team, report the enemy count imdiately!”
…
The teams tried to gather intelligence, but unfortunately, there was no one left alive to respond.
Instead, Lu Li activated Heavenly Eye, revealing all the enemies within the Waste Processing Center without exception.
At first glance, this place sounded like a junk spot, but in reality, it was a well-regulated, large-scale factory.
Neat rows of bulldozers, trucks, and other construction machinery were parked inside the factory compound.
The main structure was a steel building, nearly the size of a football field, where most of the enemies were holed up.
In an instant, contact with both teams was lost, and the remaining enemies chose to set up their defenses in the sturdy building.
Through Heavenly Eye, Lu Li saw everything clearly and summoned the tal Giant Hand to strike.
The ard personnel guarding Prince Lukado were far superior to the drug traffickers in terms of tactical training.
By now, they had already taken advantageous positions inside the building, waiting for the enemy to walk into the trap.
They thought they were being ambushed by a special forces team, yet they were utterly fearless inside.
Because not long before, they themselves were mbers of such a unit, having undergone rigorous training.
But now, they had beco the sharp weapons in the hands of a drug lord!
One of the leaders, wearing a beret, transmitted a ssage through the communication device:
“Listen up, boys.
SWAT is coming in 20 minutes for backup, and the price is 2 million dollars.
But I hope we’ll be the ones splitting that money, understand?”
“Understood, sir!”
Their morale boosted, but the next second,
they were left dumbstruck!
A silver-grey tal Giant Hand flew through the front door!
The professionally trained soldiers reacted swiftly, suppressing their surprise and unleashing a hail of bullets toward the floating sniper.
The sounds of AKs, G36s, and even PKM machine guns filled the air!
Countless bullet casings were ejected from the weapons, clinking on the ground like rain.
The beret-wearing leader fired his HK416 wildly, but terror gradually took over his face!
“This damn thing is made of high-hardness alloy; bullets won’t work!
Bring out the heavy artillery!
The heavy artillery!”
He called out without finishing a full magazine, as the giant hand indeed remained unscathed.
But before they were ready with their heavier firepower, Lu Li had already sent his thoughts into motion, controlling the giant hand to shoot out tal Balls one after another!
This was a new combat trick Lu Li ca up with on the spot, and it proved quite effective.
The 5 centiter diater Titanium Alloy Balls were propelled at a speed of 150 ters per second towards the beret-wearing leader.
With a muffled “bang,” the man’s head exploded, his beret flying off, stained with red and white matter that stuck to the wall.
Imdiately after, a bearded man holding a PKM machine gun took a hit to the chest and flew backwards, spraying chunks of blood.
The others shouted in panic, firing wildly as bullets rained in every direction.
So ricocheted off tal surfaces, bouncing back and forth.
Had Lu Li been there, he would likely have been shot.
But he hadn’t even entered the building!
Instead, he stood outside the factory, controlling the giant hand to slaughter the enemy safely with the assistance of his vision combined with Heavenly Eye.
Accompanied by the dreadful whistling of tal Balls, the gunfire inside the building gradually ceased.
Two squads, thirty enemies, and still, in less than a minute, they were all dead.
Only when the scene was secure did Lu Li walk inside.
While extracting souls, he reflected on his experience:
“The Spirit is finite.
For dealing with mortals, these kinds of thods are more cost-effective; there’s no need to crush people flat.”
“As my Cultivation grows, the tal Balls that form Spells will surely need to be bigger—eventually, this Giant Hand could really blot out the sky.”
“But for now, 5 centiters is the best.”
…
The tal Giant Hand hovered in mid-air, quietly watching its master work.
At that mont, the communication device on the leader’s body ca to life:
“This is Lukado speaking.
What happened?
How many enemies have co?”
Lu Li picked up the walkie-talkie, pressed the talk button, and said,
“Enemy is singular, Prince Lukado.”
Given that Benjamin is like the uncrowned king of the north, civilians refer to his son as “Prince.”
[Who are you!]
“We’ll et soon, and then you’ll know.”
He tossed aside the walkie-talkie and continued to advance.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Rewinding to minutes earlier.
In the “pressing machine” workshop, Teresa and her daughter were already bound on the conveyor belt.
At the end of the conveyor, there was the “Pressing Machine,” capable of crushing tal into a pancake, and humans were no exception.
Stains of dark traces congealed on the device, evidence of nurous people being pressed before.
Lukado fixed a cellphone on a stand, turned on the cara towards them, and said with a smile,
“The live broadcast has begun; you might consider smiling a bit.”
Maria whispered comfort to her daughter, “Don’t be afraid, Mommy will always be with you.”
Teresa sobbed, “I’m not scared, I love you, Mom.”
“How touching,” Lukado stroked his long hair and said,
“So, Madam President to-be, let’s begin—”
He was just about to press the switch on the machine, but at that mont, gunfire suddenly erupted from outside.
The gunfire grew more intense and closer, clearly indicating a major incident.
Lukado frowned and picked up the walkie-talkie, intending to ask what was happening.
But from it ca all kinds of piercing screams, followed by the sound of Lu Li’s voice!?
Teresa found the voice incredibly familiar but couldn’t recall who it was, yet it undoubtedly sparked hope!
Mother and daughter glanced at each other, nervously waiting.
Lukado took out his phone again, first reconnecting with the special police, unceremoniously commanding,
“Get your asses over here!
Or forget about getting a di!”
Then he rang another person, this ti in a particularly respectful tone,
“Mr.
Simon, I need help.
Send my father’s Guards over imdiately!”
After making the call, Lukado tied his long hair with a rubber band.
Then, to the astonishnt of mother and daughter, he dragged out a wheeled stand from the corner of the workshop.
On this stand was mounted a “Browning M2” heavy machine gun!
The gun was enormous, asuring 1.7 ters in length.
The exposed 12.7 mm caliber bullets were even longer than a middle finger!
This Browning was primarily used to attack lightly armored targets such as armored cars and helicopters.
If used on a person, it would be devastating.
By this mont, the gunfire outside was just a stone’s throw away, with the constant rumble of grenade explosions sending the ceiling ash trembling down.
Before the horrified eyes of mother and daughter, Lukado pushed the heavy machine gun towards the site of fierce combat.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
The outside world by now was in total collapse.
A terrifying “tal Giant Hand” hovered overhead, continuously firing tal Balls and slaughtering those below.
After each kill, the tal Balls, covered in blood, would fly back to rejoin the giant hand.
After a few rounds, the silver-grey giant hand was nearly turning dark red!
“This is the hand of a Demon!”
“The souls who died here are seeking vengeance!”
Such a horrific and eerie sight completely demoralized the armants, prompting them to flee in every direction.
But re human speed was no match for the grasp of the Spell; they were continually slaughtered by the tal Balls shot out by the giant hand.
So attempted to hide in the piles of refuse, but none could escape from the sight of the Heavenly Eye.
A single slap from the giant hand, and the person would beco indistinguishable from the waste.
Lu Li followed leisurely behind, without a hint of the sll of gunpowder on him.
Such confidence and ease were the true way a Cultivator should fight.
Just as the enemy was on the verge of being wiped out, a strange noise erupted from the midst of the chaos…
It sounded like a jackhamr at a construction site.
It was Lukado operating the heavy machine gun, firing away!
