CHAPTER 690
Imdiately after he gave his answer, a viciously thick black fla enveloped the first creature form towards the left. Northern patiently watched the sinister flas dance as though their plus were rejoicing.
After a few seconds, the flas cald down, subtly revealing the visage of the monster as it reduced... and until it was no more.
Northern's lips parted slightly upon seeing the monster.
Standing before his eyes was a four-legged creature that radiated an otherworldly-and as a matter of fact-familiar presence. Its body was as though it was sculpted from ancient stone and gilded in golden armor.
Each plate of its armor was etched with intricate geotric patterns, swirling and spiraling in perfect symtry, as if woven from the threads of a forgotten cosmic order.
Its horns curled outward in magnificent arcs, massive and imposing, each ridge carved with the sa ornate designs that adorned its body.
Despite their grandeur, the horns bore no imperfections; they were flawless, untouched by ti or battle, as if forged from pure celestial gold.
The ram's eyes glowed faintly, twin embers of molten gold, exuding an ancient wisdom that seed to pierce through the veil of reality.
It stood atop solid hooves, each step echoing with a deep, resonant thrum, as though the ground of the Limitless Void itself acknowledged its presence.
Northern was quite stricken with confusion; he couldn't tell exactly when he had killed such a monster without taking ten looks at its unique appearance.
'...Except it was during the avalanche of monsters, the rift shatter in Lotheliwan.' The answer ca to him.
He stared at the Shard Creeper for a couple of seconds and chuckled lightly. "Still, having a goat as a Void summon is hilarious. Let's look at what it has."
Northern fell silent as he read.

The First Shard grants the Shard Creeper the ability to creep into people's forgotten mories and harvest the shards. The shards can be used to weave a limited reality by the Shard Creeper.]
Northern's mouth fell as he read the end of the ability description.
If he was reading right, this ant that this... goat... could enter into people's minds, particularly their forgotten mories, take the shards of the mories, and in turn use them as a weapon to weave a certain reality for a person.
Northern's eyes stayed on the panel, his hand gently rubbing his chin.
'That can't be all...' he muttered.
There had to be sothing that happens in that reality. However, Northern did not think he would be able to see it except if the Shard Creeper used its abilities.
He smiled with satisfaction and went on to the next.

"What a weird one this is..." Northern muttered before consenting to the next evolution.
The sa thing that had happened with the golden goat happened again. And Northern for the second ti was shocked to see a cloth floating before his eyes.
'Is this a joke? What sort of monsters did I fight then exactly?'
They were so many and like a flood that he did not even take note. He did not even rember fighting a cloth.
The robe hung in midair, weightless and ethereal, its presence more akin to a living mist than a garnt.
Crafted from a dark, flowing fabric that rippled like liquid shadow, it shimred faintly with a soft, icy-blue glow. Strange patterns etched across the chest and lower hem of the robe pulsed intermittently, as if breathing with sentience.
The shoulders were adorned with crystalline protrusions, jagged yet elegant, emitting a cold luminescence that bathed the surrounding air in a ghostly light.
From these shoulders trailed long, spectral extensions, like frozen tendrils of mist that danced and shifted with an unnatural grace. They seed less like fabric and more like the remnants of a fading storm, ever in motion, whispering softly as if carried by an unseen wind.
At the center of the waist, a single glowing gemstone was embedded in a band of dark material, its radiance pulsing rhythmically, in sync with the faint hum that filled the air around the robe.
The lower edges of the garnt were tattered and uneven, as though worn down by centuries of exposure to ethereal forces, yet they gave no indication of fragility. Instead, they seed more like fragnts of a shattered realm clinging to the physical plane.
Northern breathed in deeply at the elegance of the robe. Then he looked down.

Northern's lips curled.
'In other words, I don't need to spend money on clothes anymore?'
This was a great boon, seeing as he spent little to no effort on what he wore. This would save him a lot of money too, and also, he could literally make the Spirit Linen be anything he
wanted it to be.
Although he wondered if there were other perks that ca with wearing it. Just like the information was limited with the golden goat, Northern guessed it was the sa with this
Spirit Linen.
His heart now leaping, Northern moved to the next candidate.

'Uh? An elf?'
From seeing the attribute, Northern could already tell. The one thing all the elves he had t
had in common was that attribute.
Perhaps, this was one of the elves he killed under the Dawn of Freedom cathedral.
