The flat of the massive greatsword crashed against her side and sent her skidding across the distance. Judgnt rolled, but between rotations she dug her hand into the ground, fingers clawing against the sand to brake herself. The mont she stopped, she exploded forward, moving like she had springs in her legs.

She dashed across the gap with astonishing speed, leaped into the air, and descended with a swirling kick, but the man she was fighting was strong. He dodged and circled around her in a sly, fluid motion.

Then he shoved her from her flank, using his muscled body to barrel into her fragile own like a battering ram. This caused her to stagger, but she threw herself into two cartwheel flips and stabilized. The mont she stood, her glowing wings sprang out. She lunged into the air above the man and with imnse montum she drove down towards him, spear poised to kill.

But the man blocked with the flat of his blade, causing sparks to scatter outward. He used his superior power to shove her to the side, then imdiately twirled, hurling the greatsword over his head and bringing it down on her.

Judgnt was quick on her feet. She rolled, tearing herself from the ground. Stone shards and sand pelted her as she moved. The man glared dangerously. He didn't bother to right his sword. Instead of lifting it again, he dragged it forward, crushing the rocks before him.

Judgnt continued to roll on the ground like a desperate little bunny. While her gaze was fixed on evading the dragging blade, she suddenly felt a massive force hamr into her stomach. Her eyes widened and blood flew from her mouth before her body was sent hurtling upward.

The man hurled back his sword once again and sent it at her. The sword groaned across the air like a beast, but just an inch from crashing into her, a white creature blurred across and wrenched her away.

The Radiant Seraph landed in a roll with Judgnt clutched between its limbs, and the greatsword continued to fly through the air, whirling away before whirling back into the man's hand.

Jerimoth fixed Judgnt with a pitiful gaze.

"I can tell you have never been in a proper fight. While your defense is comndable, it is greatly lacking because it has no elent of counterattack. You fight like you don't even know what you're doing." He said it casually, walking towards her with his greatsword across his shoulder.

A curious expression ford on his face.

"And that wing of light, is that your talent? Are you part of the Ryugan's aerial forces?"

Judgnt did not answer. Instead she pushed herself up with a groan, coughed, and a few splatters of blood stained the floor. A small frown ford on her face as she saw her own blood.

She had never seen her own blood.

She wiped what was left of it on her mouth with the back of her hand, leaving a little sar. Then she fixed a dark scowl on the man.

"Always yapping, yapping. Is this how you mainland people fight? I had so many expectations, and yet all that fills right now is nothing but disappointnt for your pathetic blows."

Jerimoth halted his steps, looking at the girl with genuine surprise.

"Huh? My blows are pathetic? Have you tried looking into the mirror, young lady, and seeing which one of us is worse for wear?"

Judgnt twirled her spear on one side and hooked the shaft between her armpit, distributing its length and balance across her whole body while the sharp edge pointed close to the ground. The execution was swift and fluid.

Her stance changed. Her wings also changed shape, becoming thinner and shifting angles until they were sothing very thin and sharp, almost like a propeller.

Jerimoth felt the change in the air and clearly saw the change to her feathers. As he settled into his own stance to receive her, his eyes suddenly widened. Judgnt was beside him. Her spear swirled across the air. For a mont it looked like everything was happening slowly, but it was actually fast, so fast that he didn't even get the ti to block.

The rod of the spear beat his side first. It twirled and cracked against his back, then his side again, then the back of his head. She pivoted, handling the spear like a wavy hand. It drove into his chest, causing him to stagger back.

He felt a sharp wound open across the side of his neck, shallow but burning. Another appeared on his arm. His ribs. The spear moved around him like a hurricane of steel, and Judgnt was dancing with it. Like the wind herself, she was uncatchable. And he was stuck in her mousetrap.

She spun across the air with great speed, her spear finding purchase across his solar nexus and driving into him. He staggered, assaulted by a terrifying pain. But she was already behind him, moving like a blur. Her legs swept him off the ground completely, and her spear hamred into his chest and drove him into the ground with a burst of shockwave and spiderwebbed cracks biting into the earth.

Pain rattled him to his core, but Judgnt did not give him the luxury to writhe. His eyes widened as she raised her spear, the sharp edge against his throat.

If he didn't act fast, he was going to die.

Luckily for him, he wasn't careless. A massive shield that had been flying across the soldiers, finding its way to him, finally reached. As Judgnt moved to drive the spear into his throat, it collided with her, knocking her several ters away.

Judgnt dug her spear into the ground and dragged it through the dirt as she skidded, grinding herself to a stop.

She straightened and watched her opponent rise with a massive shield half the size of a tallic prison door. He ard it with ease and slamd his greatsword against the rim. His eyes glowed with a cold, calculating light, and he charged towards her like a testudo.
