"It’s not impossible. Well, no matter. We need to report this to the authorities once we reach Red Stone City. It’s already a good thing that it just went past us and did not decide to gobble us up," the coachman of Erika’s carriage said. His words sent shivers down everyone’s spine.
Right, it was already a good thing that they were still alive even after encountering such a dangerous beast. They could do nothing about it, and the best thing they could do was to leave as soon as possible and report this to the authorities so that they can do the most appropriate actions.
The others nodded their heads and imdiately went back to their respective carriages one after the other. The journey resud, but the encounter earlier was destined to not be forgotten by them for a long ti.
Miguel looked at where the Wingless Land Fire Dragon was heading with a hint of worry on his face. That beast was very strong, even stronger than Aaliyah. It must probably have been at Gold Grade for a long ti and has already leveled up several tis.
If it decided to attack earlier, perhaps, only Miguel would be able to escape alive with the help of Aaliyah.
The encounter earlier also made Miguel realize that he seed to not be affected by the Wingless Land Fire Dragon’s King’s Aura unlike the others. At that ti, he only felt the danger, but he did not feel the stifling and paralyzing pressure of a Gold Grade Beast’s King’s Aura.
Miguel sighed to himself as he closed his eyes. This world was indeed very dangerous and unpredictable. He must hurry to upgrade his own strength as soon as possible.
Speaking of his strength, Miguel has actually saved up two drops of Origin Energy during the past days. Knowing that it would not increase his realm for the ti being, he decided to save them up for now and cleanse his body in one go after saving at least five of them.
Aside from that, he also realized that by using the Origin Energy as the energy while using Shadow Steps, he realized that he could utilize it more efficiently and the distance would more than double. Each use would only consu a miniscule amount of Origin Energy as well and the drop of Origin Energy would not even take a ditch.
Right now, there were already two drops of Origin Energy floating above his grimoire inside his inner world. It must be noted that the ti he spent refining Origin Energy has beco shorter for every refinent. Earlier, it only took him a total of two hours to refine a drop of Origin Energy, to his delight. He reckoned that he should be able to cultivate one more drop when they reached Red Stone City.
On the other hand, he had mainly trained with the Volcanic Tortoise during the past days. Its combat capabilities have already improved, but its intelligence remained the sa. It’s still dumb and would sotis doze off during their fight.
When he asked Erika about this, she simply said that this was normal as low grade beasts had low intelligence, they could not understand human language and if not for the ntal connection they had with their summoners, there was no way for them to follow their instructions at all.
Around one and half hours later, they finally arrived at Red Stone City.
Aside from Erika and the coachn, this was the first ti that everyone has co to Red Stone City, including Miguel.
The city wall was grand and high. The gate was massive and was full of people.
Red Stone City was a huge city situated at the border of Ember Province and Flare Province, the sa as Red Cliff City that was situated on the other end of the border between two provinces.
At the back of Red Stone City was a humongous mountain that one could see even from afar.
According to Erika, this mountain was actually an active volcano before. However, after its last eruption more than a thousand years ago, it has already beco dormant and silent, becoming a greenish mountain as the ti passes by. Since then, it has been called Dormant Mountain by the people of Red Stone City.
There were a lot of beasts and treasures on this mountain. rcenaries of Red Stone City frequented this mountain a lot, in search of treasures, valuable dicinal plants, and even information of the beast’s location that they can sell to powerful figures.
Right behind Dormant Mountain was Red Cliff City, their next stop before Blazing City. In order to access Red Cliff City, they must go eastward before circling towards Red Cliff City behind Dormant Mountain.
Dorman Mountain was very tall and full of dangerous beasts, hence, they must avoid going there directly.
After paying the toll fee at the gate, Erika brought everyone to an inn where they will rest until noon. After lunch, they planned to resu their journey since going to Red Cliff City from Red Stone City would take an entire day even with them using the Wind Horse carriages.
They went to the most famous restaurant in the city that sold graded beasts at as their dish. Erika said that it was her threat so everyone went there happily, even the coachn and the servants were treated to a al by her.
Each city has their own rcenary guild. Although the rcenary Guild of Red Stone City and Red Cliff City was not big, their hardworking and courageous mbers could still accomplish beast subjugation and beast expedition missions from ti to ti.
After they ate, Randy requested that he go to the rcenary Guild first and report what they saw earlier. No one disagreed and they waited for him as he returned half an hour later.
With the Wind Horses and the grand carriage with the Red Family’s Emblem, the people in Red Stone City could not help but be drawn towards them as they passed by. Envy and awe was written on their eyes as they saw the eight carriages disappear from their vision. There were so greed in the public’s eyes as well, but knowing that it has the Red Family’s Emblem, no one truly dared to make a move.
Just like that, the caravan of carriages left Red Stone City as fast as they arrived.
Five hours later, the carriages stopped one after the other.
