Miguel’s grimoire glowed with a resplendent light as the three Bronze Grade Grimoires he just brought back slowly dissolved into nothingness.
The bronze lines decorating his jet-black grimoire also grew intense, slowly converging toward the center of the jet-black grimoire’s cover. The jet-black grimoire also rotated intensely, as the rainbow hue continued to go deeper.
With their prior experience, the trio had already closed their eyes, not wanting to fight the intense light.

"I’m not fated with this one either," she said.
This was not the first ti that she was rejected by a Holy Grimoire so she did not think too much about it. There was still a lot of opportunity in the future after all. And even if she would not be able to contract a Holy Grimoire in this lifeti, she would just go stronger in order to help Miguel with his trouble.

Since Aaliyah failed to contract this second Holy Grimoire, it was now Edith’s turn to try.

"That’s the spirit," Miguel smiled, seeing that Edith’s mood went back to normal.
"I’m actually more interested in contracting a Silver Grade Holy Grimoire rather than a Bronze Grade one. As Gold Grade Beasts, don’t you think it’s kind of beneath us to contract a low-level Holy Grimoire if we can create a higher-grade one?" Aaliyah stated, a hint of pride contained in her voice.
If it was in her past life, she would surely do all thods she could think of for her beast to contract even the lowest grade of Holy Grimoire. After all, they were too rare and even empires would fall just to get their hands on a low-grade one.
However, with Miguel’s ability, such Holy Grimoire could technically be mass produced if they so wished. Not only that, they could even create Holy Grimoires of various levels as long as they allow the jet-black grimoire to devour ten grimoires of the sa grade.
This was her source of confidence as well as the reason why she was not disappointed that she failed to contract the Holy Grimoire again today.
Hearing her, Miguel rely smiled as he nodded his head in confirmation.
"Indeed. Why limit to a Bronze Grade Holy Grimoire when both of you can contract with Silver Grade one? Better yet, as Gold Grade Beasts, won’t it even be more fitting if you contract with Gold Grade Holy Grimoire?"
Ambition flashed through his eyes as he said those words.
Aaliyah and Edith’s eyes lit up upon hearing his bold remarks.
Though, considering Miguel’s capabilities, they did not doubt that he would be able to achieve what he just stated. It was only a matter of ti.
Edith looked at Aaliyah and said, "Well, it’s decided then. For my Holy Grimoire, I won’t accept anything less than a Gold Grade one!"
Aaliyah nodded her head with a smile, " as well!"
As the vow was made, Miguel chuckled and gave the two of them a kiss.
Since he made the statent and his two won also have so ambitions, it seems that he must put in so extra effort to condense those Gold Grade Holy Grimoires for them as soon as possible.
Where to find those Gold Grade Grimoires, though, was still sothing that he needed to look into.
As for the reason why both of them were not able to contract the two Bronze Grade Holy Grimoire, Miguel did not think that it was as simple as being fated or not.
Perhaps, there was a hidden criteria that he was not aware of yet.
