The area of over hundred ters away from him where transmitted to his brain.

At the edge of his [Divine Sense], Miguel noticed the worm that was squirming beneath the feet of the crowd.

Sensing that it was about to leave the range of his [Divine Sense], Miguel stood up from his seat hastily and inford Damian that he had sothing to do before he left and followed the trail of the worm.

Miguel maintained the distance and did not alert the worm.

He suppressed his thoughts and made sure that he did not leak any animosity and killing intent toward it. He knew that Liam was extrely sensitive to such feelings.

When he smiled at Liam earlier, he clearly felt that Liam seed to have jolted as his emotion suddenly surged.

Miguel doesn’t want to make the sa mistake twice so he especially suppressed his intention this ti around.

He was like a random passerby as he walked forward without haste.

Aaliyah and Edith realized his intention and did not ask anything as they transford into a streak of light and entered inside his grimoire.

Liam happily crawled with swift and elegant movents.

A crack in the ground soon appeared ahead of him. This crack was connected underground and it was in this crack that he managed to co inside the school premises.

Recalling Elder Journey’s terrifying smile, Liam shivered in fright as he imdiately slithered his way to the crack.

Seeing his actions, Miguel also used [Earth Escape] as he descended underground.

A mont later, he landed in a man-made sewer that was extrely dark.

The stench was not good but Miguel did not even frown as he moved forward. His [Divine Sense] extended forward and soon captured the figure of Liam who had now transford into his human form.

The surroundings were quiet and only the sound of flowing sewer water could be heard.

Miguel’s footsteps were light as he moved forward swiftly.

Miguel did not forget that aside from Liam, there were also other Dark Snake Assassin mbers that managed to escape yesterday.

Wherever Liam was heading to, he guessed that it would eventually lead him to his mbers.

He followed silently and using his [Shadow Steps], he did not alert Liam who was walking leisurely without a care of the world.

Fairly confident that he had escaped the eyes of Elder Journey, Liam sauntered toward their temporary base.

His pupils were slited like a snake. Underneath his robe was scaled-skin akin to a snake.

Due to his Innate Skill [Snake Sensation], he was extrely sensitive to heat and other kinds of malicious aura targeted toward him. Although the area of effect was fairly small, it was still a great asset for him who escaped danger ti and ti again with it.

This was how he managed to escape from danger every ti. This ti was no different.

At least, that was what he thought.

Arriving at an intersection and a dried hole leading to sowhere, Liam stopped on his tracks and jumped toward the hole on the wall.

At the sa mont, he summoned his Silver Grade Grimoire as a streak of light transford into a small snake that coiled around his neck softly.

The snake’s eyes glowed for a mont before Liam continued moving forward, and eventually arrived at the end of the hole, where a spacious room was present.

There, five people of mixed genders could be seen lazing around.

All of them turned to look at Liam, before they stood up in unison to greet him. The dark snake tattoo on the back of their hands glowed as if it welcod the arrival of their lord.

Liam waved his hands in the air, dismissing them of their actions.

However, as he did so, he suddenly felt a chill running down his spine.

’The temperature has changed!’

’Danger!’

As these thoughts erged in his mind, a breeze suddenly assaulted his face.

Liam’s slitted snake eyes constricted as he turned to look at the figure that had appeared right beside him.

"So this is where you guys are hiding," a nonchalant voice echoed in the closed room.

However, it was this nonchalant voice that made the six of them feel fear coursing through their veins.

"Elder Journey! Fu-" Liam exclaid at the top of his lungs as he prepared to turn around and escape.

The snake on his neck shared his sentints as its eyes glowed purple along with the dark snake tattoo present on the back of the hand of the five people present in the room earlier.

However, Liam’s words and actions were cut short.

At the next mont, a strong hand clasped his nape along with his snake.

Liam instinctively wanted to erect his shield and transform into a snake, but Elder Journey’s voice resounded once more in his ears.

"Don’t even bother. I can easily break your neck if you move a single muscle."

Feeling the grip on his nape, Liam knew that this was real.

His danger perception was triggered as though a loud alarm was ringing inside his brain.

Miguel lifted Liam off the ground. He was a short man, so Miguel easily lifted him off with his strength.

Liam’s feet flailed around like a child.

Although he heard Elder Journey’s warning, he still did not want to give up.

He still had a chance.

His snake thought the sa as its eyes still glowed in the sa purple light.

’Just a little more,’ Liam thought to himself as he struggled to breath due to anxiety and the strong grip on his nape.

At the next mont, though, hope seed to have been ignited in his snake-like eyes as he shouted, "Now!"

At the sa mont, the five people who had their dark snake tattoo glowing imdiately summoned their grimoire one by one.

Four of them have a Bronze Grade Grimoire while the other one surprisingly has a Silver Grade Grimoire like Liam.

One after the other, their beasts were summoned as well.

It took them a while but they had finally suppressed the fear that the five mbers were feeling toward Elder Journey.

After the feelings of fear was suppressed, Liam and his snake did not hesitate to forcefully command Elder Journey with the intention of mutual destruction.

However, just as they were about to attack with their beasts.

Liam’s jubilant smile was suddenly dispersed.
