A deep sigh full of sorrow escaped Aaliyah’s lips. Nostalgia was written all over her face, the gloom intensified as she recalled and compared how the Red Clan was compared to its current state.

Miguel nodded his head after hearing her words. He stroked her hair in comfort and stated, "Out of all the Four Major Clans, it seems that only the Red Clan was demoted to beco a ’Family’, while the other three remained to be called as Clans."

"Though the four of them were still called the ’Four Major Clans’, one could tell that the influence, power and standing they currently have in the empire was vastly different."

"The subsidiary ven family has now beco the ruler, while the previous ruler, the Lurenti’s is nowhere to be found."

"At least, I haven’t read sothing about them for now, not even in Alderic, or in the Red Family’s library."

"They were either forgotten, or forcefully destroyed, along with your information," he stated solemnly while comforting Aaliyah.

Hearing that, Edith and Aaliyah also nodded their heads in dismay. Even they could guess as much.

With the information they currently have, it was apparent that the ti when Aaliyah existed was not that far from the current ti.

The biggest lead they have to confirm it was the existence of the current families as well as the ven Empire that rose around 350 years ago.

"It is even possible that they are not in the Red Family at this mont. Though, we should still remain vigilant and continue investigating silently," he added as he sat beside the two won.

Aaliyah nodded her head in agreent. She was also suspicious about the rise of the ven family as well as the fall of the Red Clan.

Upon looking back, she did not recall any cases of the ven family showing signs of betrayal before.

However, after recalling the internal conflict of the Red Clan, it was indeed possible that there were so matters at play that she was not aware of.

"At this mont, the only leverage we have is that the enemies still don’t know of our existence. Let’s maintain this kind of situation for the ti being as we accumulate strength. We cannot rush this, knowing that our enemy may even include the whole ven Empire."
