His thunderous voice echoed throughout the entire room.

Contrary to his vigorous and booming voice, though, the man looked wan and old, almost like a disheveled corpse. However, like his thunderous and vigorous voice, Miguel could tell that this old man was actually very strong.

A strong martial artist.

From his aura alone, Miguel could tell that he was a Master Rank Martial Artist.

One must note that a Beginner Rank Martial Artist was already equivalent to a Level 1 Gold Grade Beast. This old man has the reason to be arrogant and fearless, even after he felt Edith’s Gold Kin Aura’s pressure.

Of course, his confidence only stemd from the fact that he only knew that Edit was a Gold Grade and did not know her real strength.

This was because even if a martial artist reached the Advance stage, they would still not be able to defeat Edith. This was how strong she was right now.

If this old man knew that Edith was already at Level 5 Gold Grade, he would surely not dare to breathe in front of them, much less speak arrogantly and ask for an explanation.

Even the current Miguel could kill this old man easily with just his physical body alone. After all, Miguel was already at the 6th Stage of the Cleansing Realm, and the 6th stage was equivalent to the peak of Grandmaster Martial Artist Rank, a whole realm higher than a Master Martial Artist.

Hence, when the old man stood up and asked for an explanation, Miguel and Edith only looked at him in amusent.

Both of them chuckled at his bravery as Edith’s confident voice rang in their ears. "It is rude to pry into others without permission. The next ti you land your prying eyes on and my master, I will gouge your eyes out myself, understand?"

The mont she spoke, all of them were obviously stunned. They did not expect that ’Journey’s’ beast could actually speak the human tongue.

Her confident voice, filled with certainty and a commanding tone, rang in everyone’s ears. Although so of them felt that she was very arrogant for saying such words, most of them still felt fear rushing through their veins the mont they heard her domineering words.

However, the old man, the Master Martial Artist, rely scoffed as he nodded to the young man beside him.

He then looked at Edith and Journey on the podium and said provocatively, "Try !"

At the sa ti, he pulled out a red saber from his waist. He brandished it with strong intent, as though telling Edith to make a move.

As soone who could contend with a Gold Grade Beast, the old man was very confident in himself. He did not take Edith’s provocation to heart. After all, who dared to say such rude things to him, a Master Rank Martial Artist? In this Blazing City, he was well respected and had high status. Even Grimoire Users would tremble upon hearing his na.

In his mind, ’Journey’ was just a newbie in the city; how dare he threaten them just like that because of them trying to see through their facade?

The young man beside him also just smirked as his palm suddenly landed on the grimoire that floated in front of him. His eyes grew golden as he activated his Innate Skill.

"That’s Sendel’s Innate Skill, [Transparency]. Compared to my [See Through] Innate Skill which has limited uses and can only see through lies and a person’s real aura, his [Transparency] is more suited to seeing things beyond a physical material. It is a very immoral skill, but the downside is that his eyes would grow golden every ti he used it," one person explained as he looked at the now-golden eyes of Sendel.

Sendel did not dare try to use it earlier because he was afraid of the consequences, but with the old man’s protection, who was directly right beside him, Sendel’s fear and hesitation imdiately disappeared as he directly used his immoral Innate Skill to see through behind ’Journey’ and his summon’s mask.

However, the mont his eyes turned golden, a black silhouette suddenly appeared in his vision.

In a flash, without anyone being able to react, Edith had already arrived right in front of the young summoner, Sendel, and the old man, Master Martial Artist.

Swoosh!

With swift and fluid movents, Edith’s delicate hands struck Sendel’s eyes with her two fingers.

Blood spurted out as Edith hooked her fingers before pulling out to take out two glowing eyeballs from his eye socket.

Everyone was not able to react to the sudden series of movents made by Edith, including the old man, Master Martial Artist.

When he realized what had happened, his eyes grew wide in anger as he scread at the top of his lungs, "YOU DARE!"

He took a step forward and brandished his saber toward Edith.

However, at the next mont, he suddenly felt empty on his right arm, which was just holding the saber earlier.

He turned to look and realized, in horror, that his entire arm was no longer there. Blood spurted out of his shoulder, and at the corner of his vision, he saw an entire arm still holding a red saber slowly falling to the floor.

The arm landed on the floor with a thud.

The whole area was deathly silent as their eyes imdiately constricted in fear and trepidation.

The pain of his eyes getting gouged out only just registered in Sendel’s mind. He imdiately dropped to the ground and scread like a little girl, his hands covered in his own blood that was spurting out of his eye sockets.

And as though a cue, all the guests imdiately stood up in vigilance as they prepared to defend themselves, worried that Edith might co to them next.

The old man, a Martial Artist looked at Edith in horror and fear. It was only at this mont that everything finally sunk in for him.

He’s actually very weak.

anwhile, Edith looked at Sendel and stated coldly, "Didn’t I say that I will gouge out your eyes personally if you ever do such a thing again? Alas, why didn’t you listen to my warning? Instead, you chose to believe in the words of a dying Master Martial Artist old man?"

Dying Master Martial Artist!

Her words struck everyone’s heart silly.

When they thought about it deeply, what she said was indeed right.

Edith wiped her delicate fingers off the blood with the table napkin in Sendel and the old man’s table to get rid of the blood that stuck to it. She then brandished the luxurious-looking ornantal sword offered by Alderic so ti ago to get rid of the blood that was stuck there as well.

Her figure disappeared in a flash, and at the next mont, she had already appeared right beside ’Journey’.

Standing there calmly, as if nothing in particular just happened.

Journey’s boisterous laugh also resounded at the next mont, garnering everyone’s attention once again.

"Co on, everyone. It’s a happy occasion; why let out such sad faces?"

Hearing his words, everyone could not help but choke on their own saliva.

Happy occasion, your head!
