In the Taguig City Police Station, Fabian was busy dealing with the aftermath of Senator Ramon's death. There were so many things to take care of that he didn't even have the chance to celebrate his recent promotion.
Carrying his tired body, Fabian went to the canteen to make so coffee for himself.
"Sir, let do that for you!" Said a female police officer. This woman was one of the two newbies in the station. She also joined the recent raid on Diego's mansion so she managed to receive a promotion despite only being an officer for less than a month. She was now a Police Corporal.
"Thanks." Fabian muttered as he sat down. He was very sleepy, but he still had a mountain of docunts to look into.
"Sir, you should take a break. You can leave the minor matters to us." The female police officer, Zenny, said as she handed the cup of coffee to Fabian.
Fabian shook his head while stirring the coffee using a teaspoon. "This investigation is very complicated." Among the officers in the station, only a few old heads could provide him with so help. As for newbies like Zenny, she would only waste her ti with the investigation.
Zenny sighed upon hearing this, but she also knew that she could hardly offer any support.
Suddenly, hasty footsteps could be heard, making Fabian and Zenny turn their heads in the direction of the hallway.
Two police officers with ashen faces shouted anxiously. "Sir, Diego and a few of his people managed to escape!"
"What did you say?!" Fabian abruptly stood up from his seat upon hearing those words.
"The police officers guarding his cell are dead... They killed our brothers!"
"When we arrived, the cells were already unlocked and most of them had already gotten away!"
Fabian pushed them off and hurriedly went to his police car. Diego and his n were transferred to Manila Police District. He never thought that those people could actually escape in such a tightly guarded station. The Manila Police District was ten tis larger than Taguig City Police Station and they also had a huge number of elite officers. It was impossible for a prisoner to escape, unless...
"Sir, let go with you!" Zenny entered the police car.
Fabian was in a hurry so he didn't bother to argue with her. 'Which bastard helped Diego and his people escape?! Dammit!' When Diego was transferred to another station, he already felt that sothing was fishy, but he didn't voice out his suspicions since it was also not appropriate for a top criminal like Diego to be jailed in a small station.
"Fasten your seatbelt!" Fabian muttered coldly as he stepped on the gas pedal. His sleepiness was gone because of this terrible news.

The loud siren of the police car echoed and all the cars imdiately cleared the path for them.
The Manila Police District was five kiloters away from Taguig City Police Station, but it only took them thirty minutes to reach the location.
There were ambulances waiting outside the station. Police officers barricaded the area to prevent anyone from entering the premises.
Fabian and Zenny alighted their vehicle and headed straight into the station, but an officer dressed in a bulletproof vest stopped them from entering.I think you should take a look at
"Halt! No one is allowed to enter the station!"
"We are police officers!" Fabian and Zenny showed their identification and the police officer wearing a bulletproof vest imdiately checked their identification. After seeing that nothing is wrong, he apologized to them. "Please forgive . The suspects who helped Diego escape were disguised as police officers so we have to tighten our security."
Hearing this, Fabian beca even more certain that it was an inside job. "Please let us through! I want to speak with the General!"
"Alright. I'll take you guys to see him." The police officer brought them inside the station. There were investigators inside who were inspecting the cri scene.
Fabian and Zenny were asked to wear their gloves before they could enter.
When they entered the Chief Superintendent's office, they saw him talking with three police officers so they waited briefly until their conversation was done.
"Sir, I'm Lieutenant Fabian of the Taguig City Police Station and this is Police Corporal Zenny. We ca here as soon as we heard about Diego's escape. Can you tell us the details?" Fabian and Zenny saluted the Chief Superintendent.
It was a fifty-year-old man with hawk-like eyes. He looked fit and strong for his age. "Oh? You're the guy that captured Diego? Alas, this matter is too complicated-"
Bang!
The door of the office was opened and a police officer ca with a serious look on his face. He saluted the Chief Superintendent before opening his mouth. "Sir, our n are now engaging Diego and his group in Binondo! Two of our n are dead and six are critically wounded!"
"What?! Let's go! We must capture them! If we let them escape, how could we answer to the public?" The Chief Superintendent quickly walked out of the office.
Fabian and Zenny furrowed their eyebrows at the report. "Sir, we will help you guys in capturing those people!"
The Chief Superintendent grimly nodded his head. "Follow . I'll get so weapons and equipnt for you two!"

At this mont, Diego and fifteen of his subordinates were inside a hotel. They took the employees and guests as their hostages. They also killed the guards of the hotel to prevent any mishaps.
There were police officers surrounding them outside and all of their escape routes has been cut off.
"Dammit! These guys are persistent! They actually managed to chase us all the way here!" Diego muttered through gritted teeth as he stared at the live footage of CCTV caras. He could see the police officers who were waiting for them outside the hotel.
"Boss, we don't have a choice! We can only negotiate with them!"
"I know! Give so ti to think." Diego took a deep breath and slowly cald himself. He then started thinking about how he would negotiate with the police.
