Krizia secretly sized up Sofia as she nodded her head. "Yes! I'm Krizia Rosalez, the General Manager of Pegasus Hotel. Nice to et you!" She extended her hand and gave Sofia a professional smile.
Sofia grabbed her hand and smiled. "It's nice to et you too, Miss Rosalez. I'm Sofia Reyes. You can just call by my na." She was startled when she heard Krizia's identity. How could she not know a famous landmark like the Pegasus Hotel? It was very famous in their country and many international celebrities and rich businessn often go there.
"I have an appointnt with Mr. Roa. I wonder if he is inside." Krizia was a bit curious about Sofia's identity, but she didn't ask her.
"The boss is waiting for you inside. Please follow ." Sofia led her inside the villa.
After working as the General Manager of Pegasus Hotel for several years, Krizia was already used to the life of luxury. However, she was still a bit stunned when she saw the modern design of the villa. It was like she has traveled into the future.
Soon, they arrived inside Arlan's study room. For so reason, Krizia was filled with expectations for her new boss.
Upon entering the room, the sll of books assaulted her nose. There were rows upon rows of book shelves inside the room. Each shelf was labeled into different categories. She saw a bookshelf that was labeled 'War and World History'. She noticed that there were more books on that shelf compared to the others. 'It looks like my new boss likes History…' She thought to herself.
After walking for a while, she finally saw a man sitting behind a desk. She was shocked by his youthful face. 'Is this Mr. Roa?! He looks so young!'
"Boss, this is Miss Krizia Rosalez. She is the General Manager of Pegasus Hotel." Sofia introduced her briefly.
Arlan nodded his head and said. "I know. Please bring so tea for Miss Rosalez."
Hearing this, Sofia bowed and left the room.
"You may take your seat," Arlan said to Krizia when he saw her standing blankly.
"Thank you." Krizia muttered before she took her seat. She glanced at Arlan's handso face. His expression was calm and the aura he exuded was similar to that of a well-learned sage. Everything about him just didn't fit right with his youthful appearance.
Arlan relaxed his expression as he said. "Thank you for coming here, Miss Rosalez. If you don't mind, shall we go through with the procedures?"
"Yes!" Krizia nodded her head. She then took out a stack of docunts from the briefcase she brought with her. I think you should take a look at
"I've already checked these docunts before coming here, Mr. Roa. You may check them. Just tell if you have any questions." Krizia muttered as she placed the docunts on the desk.
Arlan carefully read the terms and conditions written on the docunts while tapping his fingers rhythmically on the desk. While he was reading the docunts, Sofia entered the room, pushing a tray cart with a pot of newly made tea and two porcelain cups imprinted with bamboo designs. There was also a tea warr on top of the cart to preserve the temperature of the tea.
"Thank you." Krizia whispered to Sofia who was pouring tea for her and Arlan.
Sofia smiled at her. After pouring tea into the two cups, she stood at the side silently.
Krizia grabbed the tea cup and inhaled the fragrant aroma of the tea. "Da-Hong Pao Tea…" She muttered in surprise. This was an expensive tea that was exclusive to the rich! She only tasted this once when she visited the house of the previous owner of the Pegasus Hotel. From what she knew, this Da-Hong Pao tea costs a whopping price of 1 million dollars per kilogram!
Arlan's hearing was very sensitive so he heard her words. He raised his head and smiled. "You know this tea?" He was a bit surprised that she was able to identify the tea after taking a single sip.
Krizia put down the tea cup and nodded her head. "I've had the chance to drink this tea before. I heard that this Da-Hong Pao tea is very rare and you can only buy the real ones in China's Fujian Province. A kilogram of this tea is worth a million dollars…" She sighed at the end of her words.
Arlan was stunned when he heard this. He didn't know what kind of tea it was so he was shocked by her words. He saw that there was a big bag of this tea in the kitchen and it was probably around ten kilograms.
Sofia who was standing at the side was also dumbstruck by her words. She thought that it was just a normal tea, but it was actually the emperor of all teas! There was still a big bag of this tea inside the cabinet in the kitchen and from her rough estimate, that should be ten kilograms! Thinking about this, Sofia's eyes widened.
Arlan didn't know anything about this tea so he just smiled at her words, pretending as if he was aware of this. He then pushed the signed docunts to her and said. "I have signed everything. Please check it and tell if I missed sothing."
Krizia nodded as she took the docunts. She went through every page one by one and after seeing that nothing is wrong, she raised her head and said to Arlan. "You didn't miss anything, Mr. Roa. Congratulations! You are now the new owner of Pegasus Hotel!"
Arlan smiled at her words. He now had two companies under his na, Mazda Motor, and Pegasus Hotel. It could be said that he was now a true billionaire. "I'd like to visit the hotel. To tell you the truth, I haven't been there yet."
"Sure! Just tell when you will go there so that I can make so preparations for you, Mr. Roa." Krizia readily agreed. She was confident in the hotel's standards since she was very strict about maintaining its perfect ambiance for the guests.
"Great! Then let's go there now!" Arlan stood up as soon as he said those words.
