The masked man leaned on his chair and remained silent as he stared at Arlan. His eyes flashed with a aningful glint.
The silence made Loyd's legs feel weak and he imdiately collapse on the floor. He didn't even dare lift his head and his body was shaking from fear.
No one cared for his well-being and the two guards didn't even bother to spare him a glance. In their minds, he was just a puny insect.
Arlan's gaze remained calm in the face of the tense atmosphere. However, he was secretly observing the room and formulated an escape plan in his mind. 'I can subdue the two guards, but the people outside would hear the commotion. This masked man also doesn't seem to be weak and he might be ard with a gun. I have less than a minute to deal with him and escape with Loyd. Should I leave this garbage here?'
While he was planning to discard Sofia's brother, the masked man suddenly stood up and put his hands behind his back as he slowly walked toward Arlan.
When he saw this, Arlan discreetly moved his left hand towards the fruit knife hidden in his clothes. He kept an eye on the masked man while also observing the movents of the two guards at the corner of his eyes.
"You are very brave to co here alone. Do you not know who I am?" The masked man chuckled in amusent as he slowly reached out for the pistol behind him.
At the corner of his eyes, Arlan saw the reflection on the giant glass window and he noticed the gun slung on the masked man's back. Seeing this, he suddenly did a roundhouse kick that accurately struck the masked man's temple. He then threw the briefcase in his hand to the guards and quickly grabbed the fruit knife.
Everything happened in the blink of an eye and the two guards failed to respond on ti. They evaded the briefcase thrown towards them, but then they noticed that Arlan was no longer in their line of sight.

Arlan struck a bodyguard's neck using the handle of his fruit knife, making the guy fall unconscious into the floor. The other guard reached out for his pistol, but before he could even pull it out, he suddenly felt a sharp pain in his neck. When he looked down, he saw a knife held to his throat. One wrong move and he would be a goner! "W-Who are you?!"
"Try talking again and you'll see your headless corpse before you die." A cold voice drifted into his ears, making him feel terrified. He was a killer, but he was also afraid of death. He cursed the idiots who allowed Arlan to enter their camp.
Arlan patted the shoulder of the terrified guard and muttered to him. "Good. I like obedient people. Now, tell who that guy is." He pointed at the masked man who had fallen unconscious from his roundhouse kick.
Hearing this, the guard's eyes flashed with a glint.I think you should take a look at
"Oh? I can tell if soone is lying so think about it carefully before you speak." Arlan warned him in a cold voice.
The guard gulped fearfully when he heard his words. He was indeed planning to lie to him, but he never thought that Arlan was actually so sharp. He gritted his teeth and replied. "T-That guy is one of Boss Leandro's trusted subordinates. His job is to impersonate him to fool everybody because the boss knows that there are spies from the governnt in his camp. That's all I know..."
"Alright. Thanks for the information. Now, you can go sleep next to your buddies." Arlan said as he struck the man's nape with the handle of the knife. He didn't kill them since he didn't want to fall out with Leandro Manzano at the mont. He might have the experience of a super soldier and so wealth, but it wasn't enough to fight against a huge drug cartel.
Arlan glared at Loyd and told him to stay silent. He then grabbed the briefcase and put it on the table. He also pasted a note on it saying: The Reyes Family's debt has been paid. Stay away from them.
After taking care of everything, Arlan looked through the window to check if soone had already noticed the situation. When he saw that the n outside were still unaware of what had happened, he ran towards the masked man and grabbed the phone from his trousers pocket. He then opened it using the man's fingerprint.
He opened the contacts and didn't see anything there. He then checked the ssages and saw that there was only one ssage. It was a ssage from an unnad number. Arlan saved the number in his phone and quickly read the ssage.

It was the content of the ssage, a short ssage that contains a lot of information. Arlan believed that the toys ntioned in the ssage were probably the drugs they were ant to deliver. The only people who could send this were either Leandro or the top dogs of the drug cartel.
Arlan didn't have much ti, he grabbed the dazed Loyd and pulled him up. When he saw that the guy was shaking uncontrollably, he gave him a crisp slap to the face. "Wake up, you fool! It's ti to leave here! Let's go!"
The stinging pain on his cheeks woke up Loyd. He hurriedly nodded his head and followed Arlan out of the office. Before they went out, he looked at the three unconscious n inside and recalled the events earlier. These guys were fierce people, but they didn't even have the chance to fight back and were quickly subdued by Arlan.
Arlan and Loyd walked out of the mansion as if nothing happened. The ard thugs also didn't notice anything amiss and let them through.
After they entered the car, Arlan imdiately headed to the gates. He even had the ti to joke with the ard n guarding the entrance. He also threw them another stack of cash before he stepped on the gas pedal. "Goodbye, brothers!"
