Everyone was happy about the increase in food assistance and the opening of more jobs. However, many were confused about the new monetary system. People asked why they couldn't use the old money anymore.
When the officials heard the people's confusion, they imdiately answered them. According to the officials, the old money could no longer be used since they could not produce them anymore with the fall of the Central Bank of Maharlika. "There's no need for that." Arlan shook his head. "I understood most of the commanding general's words. His proposal is indeed great and it will make Last City's military more cohesive and disciplined. We are lucky that we have him in the base."
Hearing this, Krizia nodded in agreent.
"By the way, how is the production of the digital wrist wallet?" Arlan changed the topic.
"Our factories are already working on them and we have hired more people to work on the project. "I see." Rear Admiral Fuliand took in a deep breath. "Alright. I'll send three ships and 1000 navy personnel to escort the mining team."
"Great!" Arlan's face blossod into a smile upon hearing this.
