’Now I have to figure out how to take it out without being squashed to death by it.’ thought Zixin. The tal fragnt he’d fused into Baby Poldi was Mountain’s rod, the guy with the ability to make things heavier. He’d fed most of the rod to his four Beetle Armour Demons and only a few fragnts remained.
He didn’t know how heavy Baby Poldi was but just couldn’t risk it since he was now an ordinary person.
’Baby Poldi, listen. When I take you out of the...you must imdiately...’ Zixin explained his plan to the blue furred golden abdon Baby Poldi whose legs kept twitching like it was doing stretches.
...
’In three, two, one, now!’ said Zixin and the spider appeared above him and was quickly falling down. When it ca into contact with Zixin, it sank into his body like a hot tallic ball placed on ice cream, then quickly jumped off.
Zixin though didn’t look like soone who was in pain, in fact, he couldn’t feel any pain because he was in a paralysed state from neck down.
"Hahaha, how could I forget, I’m like jelly, hehe." laughed Zixin as Baby Poldi hung above him with its golden silk threads that were tied around the trees in the surroundings.
"Baby Poldi, I don’t know how safe it is here but I’m not willing to take risks, quickly build an underground cave for to hide in. Baby Poldi raised her legs then burrowed into the ground, about an hour later, the ground around Zixin beca soft and sank into it. When he sank down, he involuntarily closed his eyes.
He closed them for a long ti and only opened them when Poldi touched his forehead.
"Oh my goodness! You did all of this?!"
The cave that Poldi had built for him was big but it was definitely beautiful. Poldi had made a large web for him to lie on and made smaller webs on the corners of the cave to provide so light because her silk was golden and thus provided so form of light even though it was small and negligible.
...
In the following days to weeks, Baby Poldi’s job was to nurse Zixin back to health so she hunted down many small animals for Zixin like rats, squirrels, birds and insects. Anything that she could capture was given to Zixin, of course she too would drink her cocktails from ti to ti.
Usually, Poldi would hunt in the area outside the hundred ters safe zone but today, she’d gone a little further away. This was because there was no longer any prey to hunt from her usual spots and even if there was prey, it was simply too small.
As small as she was, she was extrely fast and agile and could even jump from tree to tree with around ten ters distance between the trees. She also had the weight of an adult elephant but could regulate it as she wished. This skill was developed and perfected after many days of constant training.
She hid on a branch with big leaves and observed everything coming and going in this area, not with her eyes since she had none but with a Blood Sense. Because she used Blood Sense as her vision, she saw everything in red, trees and plants were in a lighter shade of red and creatures with more blood were a darker shade of red.
Many birds flew by but she ignored them. Every few hours, a rabbit or rat would walk past this area and she was still not interested. It seems she was interested in larger prey. After waiting for so hours, Poldi changed her spot and went further away from Zixin’s location. She was adamant about getting sothing larger to increase Zixin’s health.
She travelled so far from Zixin that her connection with him had weakened by a lot. After travelling for such a long ti, the sky had already darkened and Poldi was about to turn back and return to her master when sothing caught her attention. Sothing was approaching from east to west of her direction and whatever it was was big and approaching fast.
Poldi waited patiently with anticipation for her prey. Hiding in the trees, she couldn’t be easily spotted. In around three minutes or so, sothing ran past her at quick speed but not too quick for her senses. What she’d just seen was a deer looking animal, orange-brown skin with white dots. It also released sparkles from its legs as it ran, Poldi quickly chased after it. As an insect that could cover ten ters distance with every leap, she quickly caught up to the deer and jumped on its head.
With Baby Poldi’s weight, the deer’s head was completely crushed by her and the deer died instantly. After the deer died, the ground opened and swallowed the deer corpse. These were of course Baby Poldi’s actions, just when she was about to leave, she sensed more than a dozen beings fast approaching and quickly climbed a tree and hid there.
In about five minutes or so, a group of twenty creatures carefully walked by while carrying stone axes, wooden bows and arrows and other primitive tools. These creatures were bipedal, about a ter tall, long noses and long ears, yellow sclera with black horizontal pupils, jagged teeth, lean bodies with sharp nails and a horrible stench. They wore animal skin that covered only their body parts and were completely bald. These monsters were of course goblins.
The goblins looked around in confusion because the traces of their prey stopped here but the deer had mysteriously disappeared. As the goblins started searching for clues, one of them looked at the trees, like a deer could actually climb a tree. The goblin was about to look away when sothing caught its eye but before it could see clearly what it was, that thing jumped at it at extre speed.
The goblin’s head was crushed, brain matter staining the ground and trees nearby, even so of the goblins were sared by the brain matter. The other goblins looked over but all they saw was a blue blur before they lost their lives. Baby Poldi jumped from one goblin’s head to another, leaving a zigzag streak on her path. The twenty goblins were taken care of in just seconds, not even giving them a chance to plead for rcy. After that, the goblins were also swallowed by the ground, sa for Baby Poldi. The only thing left behind was scattered brain matter of the deceased goblins.
