It took a month and fifteen days for Poldi to reach the Ancient Warzone. The distance she travelled was in the quadrillions of kilotres or more, mind you, she was a Rank 15 Demon, capable of travelling between galaxies like it was nothing yet she’d spent a month and fifteen days to reach this place.
[We’re here.] she said and everyone woke up and jumped off her abdon. She then shrank her size to about ten centitres and sat on Wan Shui’s head. Wan Shui didn’t dare to even think of complaining. Everyone then looked at their surroundings and were shocked and in awe of the Ancient Warzone.
The Ancient Warzone had very tall mountains with nurous cave entrances on them. The cave entrances were also enormous, like the size difference between an elephant and a microscopic organism.
"Wow, this mountain is too big. I don’t know how tall or wide it actually is. Can’t even see its beginning or end. It’s truly worth the travel." said Fatso and the others nodded.
"Ahem, according to the map of this place and the information I have, that’s just a severed arm of so creature. Those aren’t cave entrances but pores of this limb. The Ancient Warzone is the location housing all these colossal body limbs and corpses. It’s separated into three areas; the Limbs Belt, the Incomplete Corpse Stretch and the Corpse Mountain Block. If we weren’t so small, I’m sure we would have seen the Corpse Mountain Block." explained Harl while looking at the map.
"WHAT?!" exclaid Tiger, Fatso and Wan Shui.
[Let see that map.] said Zixin and Harl gave him the map. Even though he couldn’t blink or widen his eyes in shock, he could still open wide his mandibles from shock and fear.
On the map, this arm that they couldn’t asure covered an extrely small portion of the Ancient Warzone, to the point where it was like an island and these severed limbs were in millions or more, the Incomplete corpses covered more area and the complete corpses covered the largest area.
’This Ancient Warzone is likely the size of a universe or larger.’ thought Zixin.
[How accurate is this map? Who drew it?] he asked.
"It was drawn by the Ancient Pupils Demon Race. Their appearance is that of eyeballs with wings. These maps are even older than all the Demon Kings, older than many Demon Races. I assure you My Lord, that the map is one hundred percent accurate." replied Harl.
[And what about the history of this place?]
"As this plane’s na suggests, this place was the battlefield of the war between the Underworld and the Living Domain. It occurred in the era of Colossals, otherwise known as Titans or Behemoths. Only a few Behemoths have been spotted in the Underworld such as Torus, Orgliam, Ferrs, Gozzl, Davzu..." Ciel was interrupted by Zixin.
[Gozzl?! Did you just say Gozzl?!]
"Yes, Lord Gozzl is a Colossal Demon from ancient tis. I heard he was spotted in a far away kingdom years ago. He’s a formidable demon said to have reached Rank 20 but was injured and disappeared from the Underworld a long ti ago,"explained Ciel.
What was the concept of a Rank 20 Demon, it was a demon equivalent to a Divine Emperor expert, rumoured to have enough power to destroy hundreds of billions of galaxies. They were existences closest to being Universal Threats like Immortals.
Only now did everyone truly understand the significance and worth of this place. It was the burial ground of multiple near universal level beings. The value of such a corpse couldn’t even be asured.
"Coming here was really a good idea. The Underworld is full of treasure troves! Master, let’s quickly explore this claw!" said Fatso as his pig face revealed imnse greed.
[Let’s go.]
The group then chose an entrance at random and entered it and it was like they’d just entered a world. The ground was red, the sky was red and there were already settlents built here.
As soon as they entered this place, Zixin’s instincts kicked in and took over control. Zixin then transford back into his larvae form which confused everyone but Zixin just ignored them. His black fur ignited in blue flas that illuminated the close surroundings in a blue light. Everyone including Dong Shilin involuntarily kneeled. The blue light then spread outwards until it reached the demon settlents and went even deeper into this limb.
The demon settlers also kneeled when the blue light enveloped them. The blue light reached the blood vessels and even the bone. Going deeper, it reached the bone marrow. On the limb’s skin, if anyone had been present, they’d notice one of the pores covered in a blue light that was slowly spreading towards other pores beside it.
Ba-dum! Ba-dum! Ba-dum! Ba-dum!
SCREEECH!!!!
Zixin then released a high frequency tinnitus screech, forcing everyone to block their ears. The screech was so loud that all creatures both inside and outside the severed claw heard it. It even reached the other limbs and lasted for about an hour before it abruptly stopped.
"What’s going on?" asked Harl while looking at Wan Shui and the others but they also didn’t know why Zixin was suddenly acting like this.
"The Master doesn’t act without purpose, maybe he’s discovered sothing inside the limb. Let’s wait for a little..." Wan Shui was interrupted by the sudden wiggling underground like sothing had been woken up from slumber. The ground rose and fell not just from where they stood but along the road to the settlents.
[WHO?! WHICH BASTARD BROKE THE TRUCE! FUCKING REVEAL YOURSELF! SHOW YOURSELF!] A powerful voice reverberated throughout the arm as soone appeared above the arm. It was a humanoid demon with sharp ears, white hair, blue skin, reptilian eyes and a beak for a mouth. Compared to the limb, it was very small but exuded imnse power. When this demon appeared, the temperature dropped by a few degrees, leaving snow on the limb’s flesh.
Similar looking demons also floated above their respective limbs and had ashen expressions. The only answer that the demon received was screeches from within the severed limbs.
SCREEEEEEECH!!!!
