The two n turned into blurs that then collided with one another then exchanged places. The two n stood with their backs facing one another and neither one looked back at their opponents.
"You cheated."
"Since when was going all out considered cheating. I only ceased the opportunity I was given." said Zixin with a bloody mouth then the Long Emperor dropped dead.
The reason why the Long Emperor said Zixin cheated was because Zixin went all out from the beginning, like used all his trump cards from the get go. The Long Emperor was hit with a powerful Possession attack then Zixin ate all his internal organs and drank all his blood while the Long Emperor was stunned.
No matter how powerful the Long Emperor was or how strong his system was, it couldn’t recreate both internal organs and even Blood Essence which was every living person’s lifeline and by devouring it, the Long Emperor was already dead. A strong pulling force that Zixin didn’t feel was released by his body and pulled out the Long Emperor’s System and it disappeared into his body.

Zixin was happy when he received the System Notification because it ant that the Long Emperor didn’t have any tricks up his sleeves and was truly dead.
"Hihihi, you think I’m gonna fight fair with you in a life or death battle. Amateur." said Zixin and activated his Blood Sense ability and found the location of the won and children.

"It’s been more than five minutes, why isn’t His Majesty back, why isn’t there a commotion or are they still talking." thought the old man left behind in the throne room.
"Aaah~"
The old man heard a faint voice of won screaming but didn’t imdiately leave the throne room because he was ordered to wait but as the screams got louder and the yellings for help were also heard by him, he had no choice but to go and check what was going on.

The old man quickly made it to the room that was prepared for won and children from the city who seeked refuge from the emperor. Behind him, so soldiers were also rushing over so the old man waited for them and they entered the room together. Once inside, they saw a blood curdling sight that would haunt them for as long as they were alive.
The room was dark and reeked of blood. There were dry corpses on the floor and in the corner of the room were won who were frozen in place from shock and fear.
"What happened here?! Why were you screaming?!" asked the old man.
The won ignored the old man, treating him like air which greatly infuriated him and was about to teach them a lesson when suddenly, the won looked at him or rather...
"What? What are you looking at?!"
"Be-Behind you..." answered one of the won and when the old man was about to turn around, a strong hand grabbed him and pulled him up. When he was grabbed, the old man felt like all his strength was sealed and he’d returned to his mortal days.
He was pulled up until he ca face to face with the monster who had grabbed him. It had pitch black eyes, slightly pale grey skin, extrely sharp needle-like teeth and a mouth covered in blood that didn’t drip on the floor.
Bite! Suck!
Before the old man even said anything, his head was bitten and the monster sucked on his blood from his neck like it was a straw then threw away the headless husk corpse. The soldiers had wanted to warm the old man of the impending danger but once they entered the room, they lost control of their bodies.
One by one, the soldiers had their heads bitten off and their blood sucked dry then followed the won.
"This ga is boring now." said the monster on the roof and landed on the floor. Then he punched a hole through the wall and activated a chanism.
"Please, please, please, please. We’ll do anything, we’ll do absolutely anything, just don’t hurt our children. Please!" the won begged.
"Don’t worry, I won’t hurt your children...I’ll eat them." said the monster and entered the hidden room where thousands of babies were hidden. This room was the perfect hiding place because it blocked all kinds of probing but unfortunately, Zixin was a demon, sensitive to both blood and living creatures. No room could hide your life signals.
"No! No! No! NOOOOOO!!!

The palace was attacked by other demons and it collapsed after three days. No cultivator could be seen on sight because all cultivators were devoured, in fact, all living things were devoured by the demons and it was on day three that Zixin left the palace.
After devouring the children, he’d undergone a minor transformation like the small horns on his head and his smaller and shorter body. Zixin was no longer then ters tall but his normal size and was even wearing normal clothes like everyone else. He looked young and fresh like he’d just undergone rebirth.
’Now that I’ve solved my hunger problem, it’s ti to hunt down the beasts needed to complete the 4th Volu. I better hurry up before they go extinct.’ said Zixin as he stepped on air and about to fly away but sothing else interrupted his thoughts.

Zixin was pleasantly surprised by this System Notification but when he started reading the ssage, he was shocked.
He had to choose a path that the System Upgrades will be inclined to and would follow the said choice until he died. Fortunately, the paths that he could choose from weren’t so bad. Although the paths hadn’t explanations, the way they were written told Zixin everything he wanted to know about them.
The first path would allow Zixin to at least double the power of every captured attack, maybe the next upgrade would triple the power of attacks or exponentially increase the strength. The second path would allow Zixin to study the attacks and be able to execute them himself without being taught by anyone. He wasn’t sure about what other gains he’d receive if he chose this path, maybe his comprehension would increase or the System would make it easier for him to learn how the attacks work.
The third path would allow Zixin to turn captured attacks into energy and this path night allow him to never run out of energy as long as he had captured attacks to burn and convert into energy. The fourth path would clone all the attacks he had in his inventory, this path was similar to the first one. The fifth path would make him immune to the attack of the sa kind once it was successfully captured.
aning that disciples or elders from the sa sect might no longer be able to hurt him if they’d learned the sa techniques as their fellow cultivators. Zixin would no longer be hurt by the sa technique twice. The sixth and last path would allow Zixin to have Elental Affinity for the attacks he captured. If he captured fla attacks, he’d have Fire Affinity, if he captured ice attacks, he’d have Ice Affinity.
All the paths were extrely powerful that Zixin wanted to choose them all or at least a few of them but he could only choose one. Zixin thought for a long ti, thinking about future benefits each path would give him and he ultimately wanted to choose between the Clone, Power Boosting and the Immunity paths. These three paths were the ones Zixin wanted the most but ultimately... he had to choose one.
"Damn it, damn it, damn it! Why is it so difficult to choose. I want to choose three! Let choose three paths please." begged Zixin but the System remained silent like it didn’t hear him begging to choose more than one path.
"Fine, I choose the first option. Every person who attacks him will suffer double the pain!" said Zixin with gritted teeth. Even after he’d chosen his System Path, he felt like it wasn’t the correct decision and had to hold himself back from changing his mine.
[Are you sure, once chosen, you can never change the System Path so be extra sure that it’s what you want!] said the System, making Zixin hesitate even more but he closed his eyes and confird.
"The first option! My answer is still the sa, I choose the first option!"
