The storage ring was stuffed in his mouth before he went to provoke Huang Jun which proved to be a smart move since his injuries healed in a few seconds.
Zixin then dashed at fast as he could towards Huang Jun’s direction, leaving a dust cloud in his trail. Seeing Zixin rushing towards Huang Jun, the veiled woman chose to interfere in the battle and created an energy barrier.

Zixin collided with the barrier and rebounded far away like a golf ball against a concrete wall. As soon as he appeared, Wan Shui attacked the veiled woman’s Soul form that was still under the effects of the first Burning Flesh attack. And he used his strongest attacks, caught off guard, the veiled woman’s Soul form was greatly injured and sent flying far away but she didn’t choose to battle Wan Shui but instantly ran away with all her strength and speed, nothing was more important than staying alive.
After that, he grabbed the unconscious Huang Jun whose body was as strong as gold but even then, he was greatly injured with missing limbs and burnt flesh. Wan Shui cut off the remaining limbs and put them in his storage ring before retreating with him.
Everything was going according to plan that Wan Shui simply wanted to laugh oul loud and brag about their plan but rembering what Zixin told him, he suppressed his excitent and went to find Zixin. He then fed Zixin so healing pills then continued to run away with Huang Jun’s body and entered a cave he’d prepared.
’Now, ti to devour your Soul!’ said Wan Shui as he swallowed many pills and grabbed Huang Jun’s head with his half real and half illusory hands.
"AAAGHHH!!!"
The excruciating pain woke up Huang Jun instantly.
"You old dog! Trying to devour my Soul! You don’t know the imnsity of heaven! Let teach you a lesson!" said Huang Jun coldly. For a Peak Core Condensing Realm expert, his Soul was very strong but against Wan Shui, it still wasn’t enough.
An illusory pagoda was released from within Huang Jun’s Soul and firmly grabbed onto Wan Shui’s Soul, making sure it doesn’t escape.
[Soul Treasure?!] exclaid Wan Shui in shock but still insisted on devouring Huang Jun’s Soul and this scuffle lasted for a few minutes with both Souls growing weaker, just then, a voice sounded from behind the cave rocks.
"Mommy... where are you?!" Yun Zimo cried out.
[This boy, how did he wake up?! And why did he wake up now of all tis!] exclaid Wan Shui in shock and extre anger.
