"Everyone, the chance to kill those boys has finally co. We must not waste it! Let’s kill the boys and return to the tribe to be in the company of the won! Gugi, take out the cloth and the dogs follow its scent." said one of the orcs riding the largest wolf. All the orcs were riding on the backs of wolves. The orc called Gugi took out the cloth and let the wolves sniff it but there was no scent.
"Let’s enter the fissure, I’m sure we’ll co across them in there."
The orcs also entered the fissure of a different location.
...
"Hahaha, boys, the ti has co to collect the bounty on that boy’s head, the Brevity Young Master will even give us a bonus reward, hahaha!"
"Leader, all the people in high places co to you when they want dirty work to be done, hahaha!"
"You could call the Trash Disposer, hahaha! Now finish the alcohol and let’s go!"
...
Fahm with his scholarly air looked alone close to the fissure. He looked like soone who was thinking about sothing very important. He sighed and shook his head, his scholarly air completely disappeared and was replaced by a savage and bloodthirsty intent. He was smiling like a madman with chaotic eyes.
"If you complicate things, complicate them to the extre!" he said out loud and actually jumped down from the edge, completely ignoring the staircase.
...
Other students also went down the fissures, so Princes and Princesses of the Url Kingdom were followed by their soldiers while others who had great confidence in themselves moved solo. Alumni students who had reached 6 Star Mage level also left their private ditation rooms to partake in this festival.
Many people had gone down the stairs but as to how many of them would make it out alive, only ti would tell...as it always does.
...
In the past few days, Evan’s group has co across many weak goblin groups that he doesn’t fight anymore and leaves it to the rest of the team to kill them. Their team isn’t good but with constant battles every few hours or so, it’s getting better and better.
Today, like all the other days, the group was moving through the maze and while walking, they actually ca across a cave drilled on one of the mountain-like wall. From within the cave, sounds of goblins fighting could be heard. When the group approached the cave, the Mana concentration rose a bit which surprised the group and they approached until they were at the cave’s entrance.
"What’s going on? The Mana inside the cave is more concentrated than outside. Is there a Mana Vein inside the cave?"
Mana Veins are a locations where there’s Mana has accumulated in one place for a long ti that below the earth, there is a imnse number of Mana stones that release Mana into the air. Mana Veins are difficult to find because of sealing ores that block any Mana from leaking out.
"Let’s go!" said Evan entered the utterly dark cave. The others followed cautiously behind him but a few steps inside the cave and there were sounds of battle with goblins screaming in pain and agony. Soon, there was no sound. Adam conjured up a fla that lit up the cave and they walked towards the end of the cave where they found Evan seated cross legged and ditating.
There were no goblin corpses on sight, just their disgusting green blood on the cave walls and ground.
"This place is good for ditation, we’ll stay here for so ti to raise our strength then leave. You’re free to stay here if you want and continue to ditate." said Evan with his eyes still closed.
The others sat cross legged and began ditating. This Mana was more concentrated and purer than even the Mana inside mana rooms, the two places just couldn’t compare. While ditating, the group realised that Evan was absorption Mana at a fast rate and a lot of it and his cycles took less ti to complete.
’How is this possible? The Artefact Spirit said that the Mana Book I have is of a high grade that is extrely rare in the world. I absorb 80% Mana into my body and each cycle is completed every 40 minutes but Evan’s absorbs more Mana than and also completes cycles faster. Was the Artefact Spirit lying to ?’ thought Adam and touched sothing under his clothes.
While Adam was thinking about the mysteries surrounding Evan, the latter was thinking about sothing else that was very important.
’Earth Magic is the most difficult to use in this place. The only spell I can use is Bury which I used to bury the goblin corpses but even this basic Tier 1 Spell drained half of my Mana and I’m a 4 Star Mage. But this also represents an opportunity to further refine my Earth Spells. If I practice to the point where I can easily cast the spells with less consumption and difficulty, how strong will my spells be once I leave the Fissures?!’
Evan didn’t continue to waste ti and imdiately started practising. A one re wide and deep hole would randomly appear on the ground then close. Evan would then replenish his Mana and repeat the process again.
Adam was very sensitive to Mana so he could feel that Evan was casting spells but didn’t know which one so he stopped ditating and looked around, he hadn’t extinguished the fla this whole ti. Then, he saw the holes that would randomly open up and close.
’The Tier 1 Bury spell, why is Evan casting it again and again? Let’s see just why he’s doing it.’
Adam also cast the Bury spell and 80% of his Mana was consud in casting it and he imdiately absorbed Mana to replenish his energy.
’What the heck?! The most basic of spells almost drained of all my Mana! But this is good, with this, I can increase my Mana capacity every ti I replenish my completely empty Mana Heart!’ said Adam inwardly and began to copy Evan but he took it a step further and used all his Mana every ti, leaving him very pale and on the verge of losing consciousness. Seeing this, Evan started to copy Adam’s actions and cast two Bury spells before replenishing his Mana.
