Zixin was sleeping when he was suddenly woken up by two powerful Auras. When he opened his eyes, three people were standing in front of him and two of them were familiar with. The only person he was seeing for the first was the gorgeous middle aged woman wearing baggy robes and wore a very big hat.
"Dean, what brings you here?" asked Zixin calmly but internally, he was anything but calm.
’Let do a little test quickly and activated his Compound eyes and at the sa ti, sent an order to the tortoise to intimidate the two. The tortoise spirit stood behind the two of them and looked at them like it wanted to kill. The hairs of Isaac and Anita stood on ends, Isaac’s even raised an eyebrow but very quickly, the murderous intent disappeared.
"Dean, how can I be of assistance?" Zixin asked again, this ti, he was a lot more calr both externally and internally.
"I want my Runic Body Legacy, give it to !" said Lillian arrogantly, causing Zixin’s expression to frown slightly.
"I don’t know what you’re talking about, when did I take your Runic Body Legacy?"
"You...! Don’t deny it! You took it from when I wanted to buy it! You shaless man!"
"Lillian, enough! Young friend, my na is Anita Camilla, I’m a 3 Star Runesmith." Anita introduced herself politely.
"I’m Xong Zixin, the librarian of the Url’s Royal Academy." Zixin also introduced himself politely, not the least bit arrogant.
"Young friend Zixin, if you really have the Runic Body Legacy, is it possible trade for it?"
"Sure, what are you offering in exchange for it?"
Anita didn’t imdiately answer and neither did Isaac do stupid things like threatening Zixin. He just observed everything from the side. Lillian wanted to say sothing but Anita had already warned her once and wouldn’t warn her again. After thinking for a while, Anita took out a staff made from either a tree branch or tree root. The staff had many colourful stones embedded on it.
At the head of this staff were smaller branches like hands that held up the big crystal that floated in that tiny space and constantly rotated. Around the body of the staff were old and childlike characters carved on it, thirty to be exact and each of these characters was a Rune.
"This is my magic staff, I call her Ruby, she’s been with for a long ti and all spells cast using her amplify magic by fifty five percent. I’m willing to part with it for the Runic Body Legacy." said Anita and placed the 1.5 ters long staff on the table. Zixin took the staff and began examining it.
"Anita, are you really willing to part with Ruby, she’s practically your life partner!" exclaid Isaac with genuine shock. Even Lillian was shocked by her master’s sacrifice for her and was touched.
"Master..."
"For my disciple, I’m willing to..."
"Your Runes are wrong." suddenly said Zixin.
"If the staff is not...wait, what did you just say?" asked Anita with a cold expression. Anyone could anything about her and she would tolerate it but anything bad said about her profession she’d spent her life’s dedication on, she absolutely wouldn’t tolerate it at all!
"I said your Runes are wrong, even the way they are placed is wrong. Miss Anita, are you trying to cheat out of my Runic Body Legacy for a garbage staff? If so then I’m not willing to trade!" said Zixin with a cold expression. He too was angry that this woman was trying to trade with a counterfeit product.
[HOW DARE YOU! SUCH GALL! HOW DARE YOU SAY SO RUNES ARE WRONG?! DO YOU THINK I DON’T KNOW RUNES?! I WENT TO THE ELVEN KINGDOM ACADEMY TO LEARN THESE RUNES AND YOU DARE SAY THESE RUNES ARE WRONG! LADY ARIA, A 6 STAR RUNESMITH TAUGHT THIS ART! HOW DARE YOU!] Anita released her overwhelming Aura but inside the library, it was like a breeze.
"If that’s the case then it’s either this Lady Aria is a fraud or you’re just dumb and Runesmithing is not for you! Do you even know what these Runes an because I can’t make sense of them!" Zixin retorted, not backing down at all.
Anita was so angry that her body started shaking, her face turned red and steam blew off from her body.
"The only Rune I can is this one which is the ’Amplify’ Rune. As for the rest, absolute gibberish! You don’t believe , then tell , what’s this Rune?!" asked Zixin while pointing at the Rune on the very bottom of the staff. Anita took a deep breath to calm herself down before answering Zixin’s question.
"That’s the ’Wind’ Rune, followed by the ’Water’, ’Fire’ and ’Earth’ Runes."
"Hahaha! You call this the ’Wind’ Rune, aren’t you even ashad of yourself?! This, this is the ’Wind’ Rune!" said Zixin as he took out a paper and pen from under the desk and wrote the ’Wind’ Rune. This Rune was completely different from that of Anita’s.
"Hahaha, you’re the one writing gibberish Runes! That’s not the ’Wind’ Rune, that’s nonsense you ca up with!" said Anita mockingly.
"You, activate this Rune with your Mana!" said Zixin and pointed at a random person in the library. Many students had long gathered here and were watching the spectacle unfold. The student took the paper and poured Mana into the Rune, imdiately, a strong gust of wind was released from the way which blew away all the students and the paper had disappeared.
Anita was shocked by this scene that her brain almost short circuited.
"Now, it’s your turn. Write down your so called Wind Rune and have anyone activate it! You can even activate it yourself!" said Zixin and gave her a paper and pen. Anita wasn’t one to back down easily so she wrote down her ’Wind’ Rune and gave it to soone to activate but after trying for so long to activate it, nothing happened.
"I don’t think it’s working." said the student who was pouring Mana into the Rune. Seeing this, Anita began to panic and didn’t know what to do.
"What Elent Affinity do you have?"
"Water Affinity," replied the student.
"That’s why it won’t activate. Only a Wind Mage can activate it!"
