After waking up, Zhixi saw He Jingyao sitting on the sofa with a laptop on his lap.

He Jingyao sensed her movent, turned his head to look at her, with a hint of amusent in his gaze.
Zhixi quickly sat beside him, calmly asked, “You haven’t rested at all… what are you doing?”
“Sitting here waiting for you to wake up and admire .” The man’s voice was husky and warm breath fell on her ear, “Seems like my looks are indeed enough to make my wife willingly take care of , hmm?”
Zhixi’s cheeks slowly turned crimson.
“I was just dazzled by the sun…” she retorted stubbornly.
He Jingyao chuckled, leaned in to steal a kiss, then turned his attention back to the screen once more.
Zhixi was inevitably going to watch.
Then, Zhixi once again saw an email from the mysterious “x”.
The email was still a bunch of symbols she couldn’t understand at all.
Yet after He Jingyao finished reading it, his expression changed slightly.
He pressed his lips together, contemplated for a mont, then deleted the email.
“Jingyao, what’s wrong?” Zhixi sensed sothing was off.
Just then, He Ziyi woke up from her nap and greeted them.
“Ziyi.” He Jingyao looked at her, “Is Dad ho today?”
“Dad?” Ziyi shook her head, “He went to Lingdu for a eting today. I’ve heard Lingdu has many towering mountains and the scenery is particularly beautiful. Dad even asked if I wanted to go with him.”
“When did he leave?” He Jingyao asked in a serious tone.
Ziyi, sensing He Jingyao’s tone was off, replied a bit timidly, “I think… it seems like it was the afternoon… yes, the three o’clock flight.”
He Jingyao checked the ti; it was already past three, the plane was probably already in the air.
He imdiately picked up his phone to call Feng Qian.
After hanging up, He Jingyao opened a webpage, quickly browsing sothing. A few minutes later, he closed the laptop, grabbed his coat, and stood up. While putting on his coat, he headed out: “I have to go to Lingdu for a bit. Be good at ho. Call if anything happens, okay?”
