After the routine pregnancy check-up had ended, Yun Xuefei softly thanked the doctor and got off the bed to put on her shoes.
Yun Shenhan imdiately draped a coat over her shoulders.
Yun Xuefei looked at him helplessly and obediently put on the coat.
“How is it?” Yun Shenhan looked at the doctor.
“Both mother and child are doing well, there’s no need to worry,” the doctor smiled.
“Mm, that’s good,” Yun Shenhan nodded, placing his hand on Yun Xuefei’s shoulder, “Let’s go, I’ll take you back.”
Yun Xuefei glanced at the ti, “Brother, maybe next ti you shouldn’t accompany anymore? Each ti you do, it takes half the day…”
“Stop talking nonsense,” Yun Shenhan glared at her, handing her the gloves, “Put these on, it’s cold outside.”

A brief crease ford between his brows as if he had thought of sothing and he suddenly turned to his sister, “I just rembered I have an acquaintance here too, I’ll go and see him. You rest here for a while and wait for .”
“What?” Yun Xuefei looked at him in astonishnt.
“Wait here for !” Yun Shenhan emphasized forcefully and walked out of the examination room.
At the end of the hallway, a figure in black stood quietly.
Yun Shenhan sighed and walked toward him, “You don’t have surgery today?”
“No,” Huo Yanhui responded curtly, “How is Xuefei?”
“She’s doing well, eating and sleeping fine,” Yun Shenhan curved his lips into a smile that was sowhat schadenfreude, “I think she has completely gotten over her divorce.”
Huo Yanzhao chuckled hoarsely, “Is that so? That’s the best.”
Seeing his reaction, Yun Shenhan couldn’t bear to provoke him further, “Don’t worry, I’ve been blocking her first love from approaching her during this ti.”
Huo Yanzhao couldn’t help but tug at the corner of his lips.
He suddenly rembered it was Yun Shenhan who had inford him that Xuefei was heartbroken, and it was a good ti to take advantage of the situation. So, ignoring his burdenso studies, he would find ti every day to go to Yanzhou University, inventing excuses to et her.

Huo Yanzhao felt a tightness in his throat, “You better hurry and take her back.”
Yun Shenhan hesitated for a mont, “Do you want to talk to her?”
Huo Yanzhao smiled, “Would you like that?”
Yun Shenhan gave him a cold glance and turned to leave, “Since you don’t have surgery, you might as well take her back.”

In the examination room, Yun Xuefei sat on a couch, her hands resting on her abdon.
She could hardly believe that a little life was growing inside her.
Her lips curved into a sweet, expectant smile, but upon looking up, she saw Huo Yanhui.
She slightly startled, and her smile instinctively faded.
“Where’s my brother?” Yun Xuefei asked.
“He had to leave for so work,” Huo Yanhui walked up to her, looking down with a dark, focused gaze, “I’ll take you back.”
Yun Xuefei pursed her lips, her tone stiff, “No need, I’ll have the driver pick up.”
Huo Yanhui already had the car keys in his hand, “I was actually heading back too to pick up so things. It’s on the way, I’ll give you a ride.”
“How is it on the way?” Yun Xuefei glanced at him.
“I’m temporarily living in Shallow Bay,” Huo Yanhui said with a light smile, “Let’s go.”
His tone was mild, yet it carried an air of undeniable authority. Yun Xuefei stood up, wordlessly following him out.
