It took him a while to compose himself, then he apologized to Ye Shutong, “Shutong, I’m really sorry, this kid is too willful.”
Ye Shutong shook her head with a smile, “He cares about his wife. Besides, my original commitnt was to your invitation, Mr. He, whether he’s here or not doesn’t matter.”
He Yirong felt a bit complicated. Could it be that this girl has no feelings for Jingyao?

He Jingyao got out of the car and imdiately saw Butler Li waiting by the side.

He hadn’t seen her all day, and this woman had even dared to linger outside until evening… her boldness was growing by the day.
He Jingyao’s eyes darkened as he took off his coat and lay beside her, pulling her into his arms.
A warm and supple sensation t his touch, and a surge of warmth flooded through He Jingyao’s heart.
Even though he knew Butler Li was deceiving him, he still couldn’t help placing his palm on her forehead to check her temperature. Only when he was certain she didn’t have a fever, did he truly relax.
