Chapter 213: Chapter 213: It’s Okay, I Can Wait
When she turned around, she saw Ning Yichen calmly following her, which imdiately infuriated her. “Why are you following ?”
“Zhixi, it’s almost noon. Let take you to lunch,” he said with a smile.
Ning Yichen had probably run off from the wedding venue; he was still dressed in a white suit with a bow tie and stood there like a dashing figure, quite eye-catching.
Luckily, it was the weekend and there weren’t many people around; otherwise, Su Zixi’s minor celebrity status would definitely have attracted a crowd.
He was supposed to walk down the aisle with Su Lianxi and make vows, but he ended up appearing here…

Su Zixi had thought this scene would never happen, yet it had co true… She still felt incredibly incredulous.
After she had long stopped hoping, she was no longer enthused, but her heart couldn’t possibly remain completely undisturbed.
If at the beginning, he hadn’t been deceived by Su Lianxi and she hadn’t t He Jingyao, their situation now might have been different.

She had t He Jingyao and fallen in love with Him, so she could never reciprocate Ning Yichen’s feelings. Whether his feelings ca from the heart, or… were rely out of guilt.
Su Zixi pursed her lips and looked at him seriously. “Ning Yichen, to , you have always been Su Lianxi’s fiancé. Besides, I’m married, so I won’t dine alone with any man other than my husband.”
Ning Yichen’s eyes dimd briefly, then he smiled. “It’s okay, I can wait.”
Wait… wait for what?
“Jingyao and I are very happy, we won’t get a divorce!” Su Zixi retorted angrily.
Ning Yichen smiled again. “Sure.”
Faced with his knowing gaze, Su Zixi beca frustrated, though the precarious state of her relationship with Jingyao was indeed a fact. She could only throw down the words in resentnt, “Don’t follow !” and then she strode toward the dormitory building.
Fortunately, Ning Yichen did not follow her this ti.
Once Su Zixi returned to her dormitory, she rembered she initially went out to buy supplies to clean her room; she simply rolled up her sleeves and started cleaning.
Since she was the only one living in the dormitory, it didn’t take long to finish. She changed clothes and prepared to go to the cafeteria for lunch, but looking down from the balcony, she saw Ning Yichen still standing at the bottom of the building.
He leaned against the flowerbed, his brows darkened, his expression serene, as if he could wait until the end of ti.
Suddenly, Su Zixi felt trapped. She’d have to face Ning Yichen the mont she stepped out, but staying in the dorm… she would starve.
Fortunately, after a while, Ning Yichen turned and left. Su Zixi breathed a sigh of relief and quickly seized the chance to go downstairs. But just as she walked out of the corridor, she saw Ning Yichen standing under the tree, smiling.
He also had an extra paper bag in his hand.
“I just ordered takeaway for you.” He handed her the paper bag, “Eat it while it’s hot.”
Su Zixi took a deep breath and looked at him sternly.
Seeing her expression, Ning Yichen gave a bitter smile. “I just want to make up for the mistakes I made in the past. Compared to what you’ve given, I owe you far too much. Maybe you don’t need it, but I can’t do nothing.”
His gaze was pained, his lips white as if he was desperately suppressing sothing.
Su Zixi couldn’t help but soften. Her gaze fell on the paper bag, and with a resigned sigh, she reached out her hand and said, “Give it here.”
