Yun Xuefei smacked him lightly, chiding, “Why are you taking pleasure in her misfortune?”
Huo Yanzhao chuckled, leaned down to find her lips, and kissed her forcefully.
Yun Xuefei wrapped her arms around his neck, responding to his kiss, but suddenly the face of that woman appeared in her mind, along with her words, “The child I’m carrying is Director Huo’s…”

Yun Xuefei’s mood instantly soured, and she pushed him away harshly, gasping lightly for air.
Huo Yanzhao was puzzled, “What’s wrong?”
“Nothing…” She laughed it off as if nothing was the matter and wiped off the lipstick on his lips, “It got on you… I’m going to take a shower.”

Even as Yun Xuefei went to the bathroom to shower, her mood remained unsettled.

Seeing her turn to leave, Huo Yanzhao extended his arm to pull her back into his embrace, “You’re all cleaned up… perfect for so exercise, let’s have dinner together tonight.”
Yun Xuefei kicked him.
“I’m going to shower.” He chuckled and breathed into her ear before finally releasing her and heading to the bathroom.
Yun Xuefei stood in place for a while, then went over to the bedside table and picked up his cell phone.
She had always known his phone’s passcode, but Yun Xuefei wasn’t the type to snoop through her partner’s phone, so she never did.
But now…
She entered the lock screen code, glanced through the ssages, and found nothing suspicious.
Yun Xuefei sighed in relief and put his phone back, suddenly feeling a little ridiculous.
When Huo Yanzhao ca out from the shower, he found Yun Xuefei sitting on the bed with her back to him, seemingly lost in thought.
He chuckled and approached, pouncing her onto the bed in one swift move.
“Hey, what are you doing?” she glared at him.
“Shh…” The man pinned her wrists, leaned down, and parted the front of her robe with his mouth…
“Wait!” Yun Xuefei suddenly spoke up.
He looked up, annoyed, “What is it?”
“Yanzhao, sothing really funny happened.” Yun Xuefei laughed, turning over to pin him beneath her, “Today Zhixi and I were dining at the restaurant when a strange woman popped up.”
Huo Yanzhao seed to enjoy the position, his expression lazy as he pinched her waist and humd indifferently, “And then?”
“Then, she begged for a chance to live.” Yun Xuefei’s face showed a reminiscing expression, “She said she’s been pregnant for a month. And… the child is yours.”
Huo Yanzhao’s muscles tensed up instantly, his pupils contracting sharply!
