As Su Zixi stared blankly, the phrase erged once more in her mind, unshakably persistent.
He Jingyao, observing her dazed expression, spoke with profound implication, “Why aren’t you coming over for dinner? Or is it that you want to eat ?”
Su Zixi snapped back to reality, her face flushing as she said, “That’s… that’s not it!”
“Oh, I thought you were staring at because you found more appetizing,” he said, his lips curving into an enticing smile. “If you really want to, I wouldn’t mind…”
“I don’t, not at all!” Su Zixi hurriedly interrupted him, glaring at him, “I’m here to eat!”
Having said that, she plopped down at the dining table, and upon seeing a glass of milk in front of her, imdiately grabbed it and began to drink voraciously.
While drinking the milk, she provocatively glanced at a certain soone, as if to prove her appetite was for the food, not for his body.
He Jingyao leisurely stirred his coffee, watching her with an amused smile.
Perhaps she hadn’t realized it herself, but now in front of him, she had shed the initial caution, not only becoming more relaxed but even learning to glare at him.

He Jingyao found himself sowhat looking forward to it.
After all, no matter what she was like, he liked her.

But upon taking the second bite, she noticed He Jingyao’s gaze seed a bit too intense… She felt embarrassed, “Have so too.”
“Mhm.” The man responded in a low voice, his gaze still firmly fixed on her.
Su Zixi felt there was sothing amiss… She took another bite of the banana, yet heard his breathing suddenly beco much heavier.
Looking up, she t his burning gaze head-on…
Su Zixi’s heart rate accelerated suddenly, and she hastily put the banana aside, “I don’t want any more!”
All she did was eat a banana, why did his expression turn so peculiar…
