Under the calming influence of the Soldier Team Captain, the soldiers indeed felt much calr.
Thinking back to Lord’s generosity in the past, many soldiers held their complaints at the initial mont.
Just then, Nicholas arrived and withdrew several hundred-man soldier teams.
"What are you doing? The pressure on this side of the wall is already imnse,"
"We’re gathering military supplies within the territory, Lord himself is leading the team," Nicholas ntioned, bringing up Wolf.
Hearing what Nicholas said, many Soldier Team Captains and soldiers felt considerably relieved.
Lord was finally taking action, they felt hopeful and more reassured.
Thus, many soldiers used their potions to rejuvenate themselves and dove back into combat.
However, so sharp Soldier Team Captains sensed that sothing was amiss.
Many of the soldiers withdrawn belonged directly to the Lord, his trusted aides he had personally trained, those who always prioritized the Lord’s interests.
Originally, the criteria for selecting trusted aides were to be orphans with no burdens, among other standards set by the Lord himself, unknown to others.
Although so sensed sothing was wrong, they couldn’t pinpoint exactly what it was.
There’s nothing wrong with entrusting tasks to confidants!
Thus, many could only suppress their unease temporarily and continue to engage vigorously.
Having assembled his confidants, Wolf led Nicholas and others to begin their raid in Fasal Village.
The first victims were the major businesses on Comrcial Street.
The soldiers split into different squads, storming various stores; once inside, there was only one objective.
Plunder!
They plundered precious goods and the savings of the proprietors.
"Hand over your possessions."
"Those who don’t comply will die."
"..."
Faced with such threats, the business proprietors dared not resist and could only obediently offer everything they owned in Fasal Village.
So businesses that had not transferred their Gold Coin suffered trendous losses.
After being robbed, once the soldier team had left, those devastated couldn’t help but gather and lant.
"What has beco of Fasal Village, embarking suddenly on such deeds."
"It’s over, I’m finished! I’ll be expelled from the rchant team and might even lose my life."
"This is nothing but highway robbery."
"I’ll report this to the rchant association when I return; we cannot do business in territories like Fasal Village anymore."
"Not just Fasal Village, any aggressive territory is unacceptable; it’s way too tyrannical."
"You all focus only on the losses, not realizing why Fasal Village is behaving so tyrannically now."
"What could possibly be the reason?"
"Currently in the Territory War, instead of defending the front line, he’s co to rob us in our rear; what else could it be?"
"Fasal Village is dood? How could that be?"
"What’s so impossible about that? The combat started, and I sensed it. Many soldiers go out, few return, whether dead or not, anyway, they all end up in Hope Village; clearly, the situation is already quite unfavorable for Fasal Village."
"What shall we do then?"
"What can we do? We just have to wait."
"Fasal Village really can’t hold up under pressure; its initial grand announcent made think it was the next rising star, but look what happened? I’m utterly ruined; I’ve done nothing but waste this whole year."
"Doing nothing would be bearable, but I might even leave my life here."
"..."
The rchants found themselves in dire straits, their hearts sinking one by one.
Now, they only hoped to preserve their own lives.
While they conversed, the number of affected businesses continued to rise until it encompassed the entire territory.
The residents of Fasal Village also started to sense sothing off about the situation from the plight of the rchants; the sharp ones had already begun to hide their families in secluded corners.
Sure enough, it wasn’t long before Fasal Village’s soldiers targeted the residents of the territory.
To each individual they reached, their property was thoroughly stripped.
Every victim felt imnse anger, yet faced with overpowering forces, all they could do was submit, or else their lives would be at stake.
At that mont, the map that was originally intended to help the Lord understand the residents’ situations now served as a tool for plunder in Wolf’s hands; crowded spots with many people, no one could escape.
