Zhou Bai was busy at ho until Bayer ca knocking.

Seeing Bayer’s arrival, Zhou Bai stretched lazily, gathered up the materials she had arranged that morning, and put them into her backpack’s compartnt before opening the door.

"Is it Philaya who has co?" Zhou Bai asked.

The recent running developnt of the territory hadn’t fluctuated much, so if there was anything, it likely involved Philaya.

Thinking of Philaya, the corners of Zhou Bai’s mouth curled up unconsciously.

Thanks to Philaya’s map of the Stan Continent, she had reaped a lot since last night, and now, at last, she could stop being blind.

"She’s here, waiting over at the back hill!" Bayer nodded and glanced at Zhou Bai’s expression, "Does the village chief like her a lot?"

He had rarely seen Zhou Bai show such fondness.

"Yeah, she’s nice," Zhou Bai nodded without hesitation.

Who wouldn’t love a little cutie that gave gifts?

Listening, Bayer suspected if Lord Long had given their Lord sothing precious?

Or had already given sothing?

After all, their Lord was usually busy; when not dealing with the territory’s affairs, she would go out on missions. Even today, due to the arrangent with Lord Long, based on the Lord’s personality, she would have been at the Lord Mansion.

The only reason she wouldn’t go is if she had other important things to attend to at ho.

With his suspicions, Bayer didn’t probe further.

After all, the Lord choosing to stay at ho rather than bustling at the Lord Mansion could only an she didn’t want others to know about it.

Having guessed as much, Bayer quietly kept it to himself.

"Let’s go," Zhou Bai promptly said, and then led Bayer towards the back hill.

There, Philaya, having reduced her size, wandered around the breeding ground and farmland, naturally gravitating toward the activity since waiting for Zhou Bai in one spot had been sowhat boring.

Both the breeding ground and the farmland were bustling with people; it was only natural for her to head that way.

"Lord... Lord Long." Although Philaya had subdued her own imposing aura, the presence of the Dragon Clan could still make the beastn and demon beasts present feel uncomfortable.

It was an instinctual reaction for them.

So while Philaya andered about, they felt a bit uneasy.

"Did you plant these fields?" Philaya curiously asked the sheep-headed man in front of her.

When Beck was asked, he steadied his nerves, "I planted them, Lord. Is there any problem?"

"I want to taste the fruits on them. Pick so for ," Philaya stated directly.

Beck hesitated at her words.

At that mont, Anna, standing beside him, whispered in his ear, "This Lord Long is the village chief’s esteed guest. Treat her well, and the village chief won’t bla you."

Everyone had been discussing the arrival of a mber of the Dragon Clan in Hope Village since they returned to the neighborhood yesterday, especially ntioning that the village chief had been accompanying Lord Long, entertaining and validating her actions. In such circumstances, it was definitely right to treat Lord Long well.

Hearing this, Beck then politely asked, "Lord Long, what would you like to eat?"

"One of each."

"Chili, lemon, bitter lon... do you want these too? They don’t taste very good." Saying this, Beck thought of the variety of crops he had planted, the nas of many of which had gradually been replaced by what others called them, as he found their nas nicer and thus adopted them.

Those he ntioned were good in dishes or as condints, but eaten raw or on their own could taste quite questionable. Beck was earnestly advising, but he didn’t dare be too direct.

"I want them, all of them!" Philaya said without hesitation.

She had tried everything yesterday. These fruits were planted in abundance; how bad could they be?

"Alright... then!" Beck agreed and then descended into the field, already deciding to keep those with strange tastes separate first, so that after trying one, the other probably wouldn’t want to continue.

Beck was quick to act, intimately familiar with everything in the field.

It didn’t take long for him to present two small baskets full of fruit.

"Try these first, Lord Long," Beck said, and Philaya couldn’t resist tasting them one by one.
