Hope Village.
Recently, the territory had entered a stable phase of developnt, with the economy, population, and other aspects all advancing to a new stage. The territory prospered more with each passing day, bringing pride to every resident of Hope Village.
The several thousand people of Barnes Village had also found their rhythm of life in Hope Village over the past few days.
The Frost rcenary Team, Phantom rcenary Team, and Wild Wolf rcenary Team had beco famous within Hope Village. Their rcenaries were skilled and had found their place in the village. Now they could be bold and daring once more, and what was better, they no longer had to endure exploitation by the territory. Their days were much better than before.
mbers of soldier teams like Pavel had smoothly transitioned to new professions in Hope Village, joining various teams. Pavel led his own team, wholly dedicated to increasing their Contribution, counting it every day. They, too, loved their new life, where effort was rewarded. And with the excellent military benefits, they lived without worries.
Residents had already started calling themselves Hope Village Residents, with most saving eagerly to buy their own houses in Hope Village and settle down permanently. Even with limited experience living in other territories, they knew that the life of a Hope Village Resident was sothing many other territories couldn’t offer.
Were they not quickly integrating into Hope Village as they strived to live well?
At least when Viscount Robin visited Hope Village, he saw many familiar faces, yet he could no longer find any trace of their past.
After encountering another person, Viscount Robin was montarily stunned.
Still, his brief hesitation had drawn the attention of others.
When they recognized him, Ludo was sowhat taken aback.
The Barne Village Lord, what was he doing here???
The thought flashed through Ludo’s mind, and he suddenly rembered what Zhong Yongnian had told him: the Barne Village Lord hadn’t died but had beco a resident of Ningshan Village with the remaining residents, even becoming the Village Chief of Ningshan Village and enjoying good treatnt.
With that in mind, Ludo’s face bore a slight smile, "Viscount Robin."
Hearing Ludo call out, Viscount Robin recognized him in an instant, forrly a rcenary Team Captain in his territory.
A flicker of embarrassnt crossed the depths of Viscount Robin’s eyes, but it quickly vanished.
"You seem to be doing quite well in Hope Village," Viscount Robin said directly.
Though he rembered the man, he didn’t know which group Ludo was from when he left, so he could remain calm.
Hearing Viscount Robin’s words, Ludo’s eyes flickered, and he naturally responded, "Yeah, it’s pretty good here. My brothers and I are much better off now. Our daily routine is mainly doing tasks and occasionally taking a vacation within the territory to relax. Today happens to be a collective day off for our rcenary Team."
After arriving in Hope Village, Ludo had earned a significant amount of Contribution and a bonus. He quickly registered his rcenary Team and tentatively led his teammates on a high-paying mission in another territory. After returning and confirming he didn’t have to give any portion to the territory, everyone received a handso sum. Assured of Hope Village’s reliability, he gave his teammates a day off for so well-deserved rest, given how much had happened over the past days.
He hadn’t expected to run into Viscount Robin.
But running into him was a good thing! It was the perfect chance to vent.
The forr soldiers and officials had been corrupt, and Viscount Robin was inextricably linked to it.
Viscount Robin, listening to Ludo’s words and noting the aningful look in his eyes, understood that he was being implicated.
Having spent two days in Ningshan Village and now experiencing Hope Village, he indeed recognized the uniqueness of these new territories, especially in their exceptional protection for residents.
Weren’t Professionals the most precious?
Since when did Professionals and Residents have equal status?
He didn’t understand but was trying to. He knew if he never ca to understand, his ti as a Village Chief would be short.
With that thought, Viscount Robin spoke, "As long as life is good, continue to enjoy your days in Hope Village!"
