In fact, Andre wasn’t the only one left utterly confounded by their questions.
Mario and a few others, though not stepping forward, had also been listening intently. They couldn’t help but twitch at the questions these people were asking.
Truth be told, they had considered other possibilities, but it genuinely hadn’t crossed their minds that these people would be so straightforward in their interrogations.
Are these people... this lively in their personalities?
They’re overly lively!
Thinking back to the Hope Village Residents they had just t, they were unsure whether it was because they had been isolated for too long, or if the outside world had changed too quickly!
The group had no idea about the Undead’s reflections. They looked at Andre, who had beco silent and seemingly at a loss for words, and kindly said, "Don’t worry, you can take your ti and answer one by one."
Andre: "..."
Andre turned to Bayer and Heidi with a pleading look in his eyes.
Had the outside Human world already beco like this?
Receiving his glance, Bayer calmly said, "You can just give them a brief answer. They are rely curious, and besides, you’ll get used to it eventually."
The first ti they had co to Hope Village, they were also bombarded with questions.
Later on, once the Hope Village Residents got used to their background, the questioning stopped.
But recently, since Hope Village had just opened up, an overwhelming influx of population poured in, many of whom were from the sa world as the Lord and shared similar inquisitive and lively traits.
This kind of thing would happen in the future.
It was better for them to ask questions than to be the ones questioned.
A dead fellow Immortal will not die a poor Immortal, as the saying goes!
Getting them accustod to it wasn’t a bad idea at all.
Listening to Bayer, and seeing the others appearing indifferent, Andre resigned himself to fate and began to answer, confronted by pairs of eyes filled with a desire for knowledge.
"The Undead Kingdom is situated on an isolated island at the heart of the Stan Continent’s ocean, surrounded by the sea on all sides, perpetually shrouded in death energy. Contact with death energy is a troubleso matter for any Race; at best, it causes severe injury, and at worst, it causes death. Therefore, essentially all Races dare not approach it, not even the ocean’s rulers, the Dragon Clan. Consequently, the Undead Kingdom is a natural prison: inhabitants inside cannot leave, and those outside cannot enter, unless you know how to control death energy."
"The Undead living within the Undead Kingdom are largely transford from the deceased of various Races. At the center of the Undead Kingdom lies an altar that calls out to many upon their death. Those who answer the call beco mbers of the Undead Kingdom. To date, no one knows how the Undead Kingdom chooses its Residents, although the environnt of the Undead Kingdom is sowhat dim; it still offers many a new life."
"Additionally, the situation within the Undead Kingdom is very complex. It includes all the Races of Stan Continent and still honors strength above all else. There are hundreds of large and small forces within, and there is no leading force because nurous forces are being swallowed up every day. This happens because everyone is competing for the resources of the Undead Kingdom."
"The resources of the Undead Kingdom are plants that can only grow within its bounds. These plants provide the daily necessities for the Undead and can assist in the advancent of Undead Mages’ Levels. Gaining cultivation is crucial, as when an Undead reaches a certain Level, they can transform death energy into their own, thereby deceiving the surrounding death energy of the Undead Kingdom, allowing them to leave. It can be said that almost all the Undead who enter wish to leave, so they all strive to enhance their own cultivation. Where there is competition, there will be strife."
"The abilities you ntioned, such as Summoning Skeletons, Casting Curses, and Summoning Souls, are only practiced by evil Undead Mages. The skeletons in Summoning Skeletons are the ’bodies’ of the deceased Undead; the souls in Summoning Souls are the deceased Undead’s ’souls.’ No Undead wishes to beco soone else’s tool after death. Furthermore, Casting a curse requires a price, generally the lifeforce of the Undead Mage, but many Undead Mages are unwilling to pay this price and may use the life of another Undead Mage instead. Thus, such actions are officially prohibited in the Undead Kingdom."
"..."
With Andre’s explanation, the initially excited group gradually beca imrsed.
In their minds, the world of the Undead Kingdom slowly unveiled itself.
Their hearts suddenly filled with a sense of reality.
This world was a genuine one, an incredibly grand world.
And at this mont, everything they had encountered was just the tip of the iceberg.
Their journey in this world was still exceedingly long.
