Thinking about it, Zhou Bai had an ominous premonition in her heart. She recalled the conversation with O’Neill about secretly kidnapping soone; surely, O’Neill hadn’t really done it?

It had to be said, though this turn of events was sowhat unexpected, looking at the expression before her brought a sense of satisfaction to Zhou Bai’s heart.
Wolf had already noticed Zhou Bai and, pointing at his own cheek, his eyes dark and deep, said, "This ti, these should count as evidence, right? Residents of your territory assaulted on my way to the hotel yesterday."
Zhou Bai listened, her mood already composed, "Did you catch the perpetrator? If so, I’ll send them straight to prison."
"If I had caught them, would I co to you? The people who attacked last night didn’t give us a chance to react and they were nurous and overwhelmingly strong, only Beastn can do such things. It must have been those Beastn, and you must hand them over to for punishnt," Wolf demanded.
After being beaten up yesterday, he grew to hate Hope Village and the Beastn.
After investigating the situation with Hope Village, he confird their dealings with Lovisa City and Marquis Boyer. Since that was the case, he could temporarily do nothing to Hope Village, but that didn’t an he couldn’t deal with the Beastn, right?
Beastn weren’t part of their Human Race; surely Hope Village wouldn’t offend him over so Beastn?
Listening to this, Zhou Bai gave Wolf an odd look.
Was there sothing wrong with this guy’s brain? To make such a demand? Did he really think Zhou Bai, who was firm in her stance yesterday, would abandon the Beastn who were devoted to their territory?
"Impossible!" Zhou Bai declared without a mont’s hesitation, then added, "Your accusation is based solely on your subjective conjecture. You have no evidence to prove it was our territory’s Beastn. Lately, personnel within Hope Village have been mixed; no one knows if it was soone from another territory you’ve offended, taking this opportunity to provoke a conflict between our two territories. As a Lord, you should be more vigilant!"
Zhou Bai’s tone grew heavier toward the end, her ssage clear.
Upon hearing this, Wolf’s face darkened, his teeth clenched as he retorted, "You won’t give up even so Beastn?"
"I will not." Zhou Bai answered definitively without hesitation.
Choosing between one’s own people and the enemy was a no-brainer.
Wolf’s face grew more sullen as he said directly, "Then we’ll see in just over twenty days!"
Zhou Bai listened, the corner of her mouth curling up slightly, "Then Hope Village will gladly keep you company. We’re in dire need of a building like the Advanced Alchemy Workshop."

The thought of the workshop now occupied by Hope Village made Wolf’s heart bleed.
He couldn’t stand it anymore. No matter what, in the next Territory War, he was determined to attack Hope Village.
Even if he lacked the strength, he would look for allies to join forces and divide up Hope Village!
If he succeeded, Marquis Boyer would certainly not punish him for sothing as irrelevant as Hope Village.
Realizing this, Wolf’s urge to keep his composure vanished without a trace.

"Fine, we will accommodate," Zhou Bai affird with staunch determination.
In just over twenty days, Hope Village’s strength would rise another notch.
She refused to believe that what couldn’t trouble them during Fasal Village’s pri could be managed in just over twenty days.
Of course, she still needed to guard against any potential underhanded tactics from them.
As Wolf looked at Zhou Bai, unaffected by his pressure, he scanned the gathering crowd and instigated, "Hope Village is so overbearing; if you suffer here, no one will defend you."

Previously, they only knew that the Lord of Fasal Village was harsh and overbearing, setting his sights on any territory almost guaranteed its downfall.
