And they ca out to gather intelligence because many of their tribe mbers had been captured.

It was clear that a group of rcenaries had already found their way to the supply point near the Fox Beastn’s territory.

For the sake of survival, Fox Beastn from their territory would go there, and once the group’s numbers were small, they beca easy targets and subsequently disappeared.

She also knew that they couldn’t return to their original territory, so now they could only follow this group of Beastn and take things one step at a ti.

Moreover, for the sake of their future, they needed to maintain the interests of this group of Beastn to a certain extent.

Perhaps in Human Territory, they could find better thods than what they could devise for rescue.

Just take a gamble!

Based on their observations over the past two days, the entire group had indeed been living comfortably, but most importantly, the leading Kobold, Lucas, was intelligent. He believed that if Lucas was as smart as he seed, he wouldn’t bother bringing so many people to seek shelter in the Human Territory unless it truly offered better prospects.

"What should we do? Should we tell them?" Fox Beastman Thomas continued, lowering his voice on purpose.

Glen glanced at Thomas, clearly understanding the true aning behind his words.

He also thought it was better to follow these Beastn.

With that in mind, Glen nodded, "Yeah, let’s bring it up with them!"

"Then you go talk," Thomas said directly. Glen was the core of their group, so it made the most sense for her to approach them.

"Let’s go together," Glen suggested to Thomas. It wouldn’t work with just one person; it was better for two to go.

Thomas seed to understand Glen’s concern and nodded.

They then started walking toward Lucas and O’Neill.

When Lucas saw Glen approaching, his expression showed a hint of strangeness.

He rembered that this group of Fox Beastn had not been too keen on following them!

He had thought they were coming to accept reality, but now approaching him, did they still plan on leaving?

While Lucas was pondering over this and considering how to dismiss them, he saw Glen speak up as soon as she approached.

"I know who might be secretly watching us."

Lucas was truly taken aback.

Did this Fox Beastman really know? How did she know?

Lucas asked her directly.

"Our tribe mbers have been disappearing frequently in our territory, so we ca out to investigate. We were just unlucky to run into them," Glen said calmly, though her eyes revealed a hint of helplessness.

Humans also typically prey on the weak and fear the strong, and since Fox Beastn’s combat abilities were weak, like the Sheep-headed n, they were among Humans’ favorite targets to capture, even more so due to their intelligence.

This was the tragedy of their tribe.

Listening, Lucas sowhat understood why Glen had been insisting on going back previously, his eyes faintly displaying compassion, and he then said, "Without going back, your tribe mbers should be more cautious. As for your forr tribe mbers, we can only wait until we return to the territory and look for an opportunity to help you inquire about them later."

Lucas’s words were not purely out of sympathy for the group of Fox Beastn; he also hoped to win their loyalty and get more information from them. It would be excellent if he could win their hearts.

The Fox Beastn were very intelligent, and with their rapid speed and sharp senses of sll and hearing, they would definitely be a great asset upon entering Hope Village. Their Lord would surely be pleased.

When Glen heard such promising words from Lucas, she paused, unable to resist asking, "Really? Will Humans truly be willing to help?"

Why couldn’t she feel certain?

Lucas nodded without hesitation, "Yes, the Village Chief of our territory will surely agree. Besides, in terms of the territory, you could also put out tasks to hire those Human Professionals. As long as you can pay, not only gathering intelligence is possible, but they can also help you rescue people!"

The possibility Lucas presented surpassed Glen’s imagination.

It was entirely different from what she knew about Human Territory, too dreamlike... Could it be true?

"You’ll see when the ti cos," Lucas said softly, patting Glen’s frail shoulder.

The pat made her shoulder involuntarily sink down, and the impact nearly made her stumble as she walked.

Lucas awkwardly withdrew his hand as he realized he had already been gentle; the females of the Fox Beastn were indeed very fragile.
