"Make their last known location the priority," Sol quickly said, playing along.
He was well aware that Master Xiner said this just in case.
Upon hearing Sol’s words, Master Xiner appeared fairly satisfied and continued reciting a string of spells. Once the spells were uttered, a group of Demon Beasts rushed out like arrows leaving their bowstrings.
They sprinted wildly across the territory, with anyone on their path swiftly making way.
Those who dared to be so brazen within the territory typically belonged to sobody, and that sobody usually wielded power and influence. Not soone to be trifed with!
So it went that, in no ti at all, the group of Demon Beasts had left the territory and shortly after vanished in front of the gate-guards.
"Master Xiner’s Magic Beast Group has left; I fear soone is in for so bad luck again."
"I wonder if it’s related to the Bergas rcenary Corps? I saw their leader, Sol, hurry into the city just now, and following that, their team returned without beastn and looked quite ragged. They must’ve been robbed, and now they’re coming back to find soone to settle the score."
"Who dares rob Captain Sol?"
"Maybe it’s roaming bandits! They rob and then quickly sell their loot. By then, Captain Sol surely won’t be able to do anything about it!"
"That’s very likely."

A group of soldiers gossiped among themselves, their guard duty so dull that they naturally resorted to chit-chat to pass the ti.
And just as their conversation reached its peak, the Soldier Team Captain arrived and cleared his throat softly.
Everyone instantly straightened up and looked forward.

Lucas and his group caught up with the beastn who had gone ahead.
When they suddenly erged, the recently rescued Sheep-headed n were sowhat afraid, but upon realizing they were with fellow beastn, they relaxed a little.
But the weight in their hearts wasn’t fully lifted.
They couldn’t understand why these Tiger-n and Kobolds would rescue them only to wander around on Human land instead of returning to Beastman Territory.
Surely, it was safer in their own territory.
"You’re back! Is everything alright?" the Tiger-man, Fork, imdiately looked to his son, O’Neill, checking him over to be sure he was unhard, only relaxing once he was satisfied.
"All good, we scored a complete victory this ti!" O’Neill said, beaming with joy.
They were strong, and with plenty of valuable loot in their hands, they had really struck it rich.
There was indeed fortune to be found in the heart of danger!
Lucas, however, didn’t give them much ti for pleasantries and straight away said, "Keep moving. After suffering such a loss, they might not let it go so easily."
"But they shouldn’t know we ca this way."
"That would be ideal, but if they think deeper, they might guess we’re on Human territory. In any case, the farther we are from the scene, the better," Lucas analyzed calmly. "Besides, Delisha City is a large city; who knows if they have any special tracking skills. We need to make good use of this lead."
"Yes." The others, seeing Lucas’s serious deanor, dared not joke around and quickly moved forward with their teams.
As for the Sheep Beastn, being generally more docile and now hearing of the possibility that the rcenaries could catch up, obediently followed.
After all, it was better than being captured by Human rcenaries.
However, the few Fox Beastn who had been caught along with the Sheep-headed n were different.
Knowing that Lucas and O’Neill were the core of the team, they walked directly up to them, clearly demanding an explanation.
As for the Sheep-headed n’s Clan Leader, Dean, he silently followed behind, ready to understand the situation. At the very least, he needed to know where they were headed and what would happen once they got there.

The proud Tiger-n were actually following the lead of a Kobold.
