Tess in huff and puff rushed towards the trio with an angry look.

Then stood in front of them, putting her hands on her slim waist looking at Layla with a hatful gaze.

Bystanders seeing who ca quickly dashed out of there, as they all have situational awareness.

It’s okay to watch the fun but they knew when these two won co face to face, always passersby suffer.

They did not want to add their na in the ever so increasing list of victims of these two’s shenanigans and so they all quickly dispersed.

"Pfft hahaha, What you did with your face? You look like a circus joker ahah."

Layala who already ready to fight back, reluctantly leave Max’s waits, turning around to fake this muscle brain but the mont she saw her face she was taken aback for a mont before she burst out laughing holding her stomach.

Max, who was ready to stop them from fighting, was also taken aback seeing Tess.

Ashley being who she is, secretly took out her phone and snap a photo, before also started secretly snickering.

It’s really hard to not laugh looking at her.

"...Wh-What? I look good."

Tess hesitates a little, being slightly embarrassed, taking a sneaky glance at Max as she confidently declares she looks great.

"Hahah In what universe, this looks great? *Laugh maniacally*"

Layla couldn’t help but retort, taking a pause from laughing before once again bursting out laughing uncontrollably.

Even Ashley wasn’t able to keep her calm anymore as she too started smiling openly.

"Shut up flat-chest, I am beautiful in every universe."

Tess balled up her fist in anger and sha, Her face was burning because of the embarrassnt.

So she said sothing she knew was going to flare up this woman, her flatter than runway chest, this is a thing she is most insecure about.

Every ti soone says it, she flares up like a cat, ready to scratch.

Then she got ready for face her counter-attack.

"Hahahahahaha"

However, unlike what she expected, Layla, other than getting angry, started laughing even more loudly, she was laughing with such intensity that, it looks like she would start rolling on the ground any mont now.

This just made Tess even more embarrassed as she looked down, finally started to realise she did sothing stupid.

After all, If the flat chest comnt not get the raise out of this woman then there is really sothing wrong with her.

"You look beautiful Tess."

The stunned Max finally spoke up as he took a step towards her, looking at the artwork on her face.

To be honest she really looks like a circus joker.

Her whole body was covered in the white powder, as an excessive amount of pinkish blush was on her two cheeks, Red like rose lipstick was put on her seductive lips.

It looks like a 5 year old got her hand on her mothers makeup kit and go all out on jt.

Though she did look like a joker, it still did not hide her inherent seductive charming nature.

So he did not lie, She was indeed looking beautiful, even with all that makeup can’t hide her angelic face, maybe even more so as her well carved curvy body beca the centre attention.

"Really?"

Tess’ eyes lit up like a christmas tree looking at him, waiting for him to say it again.

"Yeah you are beautiful, Not only beautiful but also sexy too, If I did not love Serena I would hav- *Choke* s-sorry *Ahem* about that, You look perfect as you are Tess."

Max pulled out the handkerchief from his pocket as he slowly started to whip off all the makeup she put on.

He also started to praise her, he started to speak and as if by mistake spoke about Serena just for choke as if he suddenly was on the verge of crying.

Then as if understanding what just happened, He quickly apologised as he cleared his heavy throat before praising her again.

This look is not much but his tiny action can go a long way, After all he added he loves Serena in the two complints for her.

So even if the stuff he said negative, he sandwiched between the two positive things and because of the nature of our brain, prefer being good news over bad, subconsciously she would not think what he said is that bad thing.

Rather he would gain her sympathy and even give her hope that there is trouble in paradise ans she also has a chance, So other than thinking he loves Serena makes him unobtainable, It just becos a hurdle.

This way she would try to get him, then the other way around, for soone as lazy as him, It’s ideal conquest.

"Stop lying to , *Sob* I look like joker as she said that’s why you are wiping my makeup"

Tess was stupid but not that stupid, She knoes he fucked up.

She never tried to do makeup as in her eyes it was waste of ti, she rather spend that ti in gym to hone her skills.

But today sothing changed, When Max invited her to the auction hall, she didn’t know why she just wanted to look her best.

Hence she went and brought the new professional grade makeup kit and started doing her own thinking how hard it can be.

She did not even use the mirror, she go by feeling, wanting to surprise him and herself but it seem she fucked up.

But when Max said she look beautiful she thought this Layla was just jealous and hence why she was making fun of her but when he started wiping off her make up, she knew she did not look at all.

He was just saying it to be polite.

"No Tess I do not lie, You are perfect, You are so perfect face and body that adding anything else is going to decrease your beauty not add it.

I say you have an angel’s face and a devil’s body, the perfect being."

Max knees she would say that and so he was ready with answers.

He cupped her face in his two wide soft hands, as he told her in his enchanting soft voice as his void like eyes stared into her watery ones.
