Gotham’s nights always seem the sa, with the skyscrapers in the city center hosting upscale restaurants and nightclubs that never lack patrons. They indulge in spending piles of cash for physical or ntal pleasures, like dining on als that cost a poor person half a lifeti’s savings or wildly toying with young n of the night.

And not far from these buildings, in the dark alleys, cries and gunshots are heard from ti to ti, where sin always reigns.

Any criminal act can be seen in Gotham, regardless of the cri itself or how bizarre the criminal is, it can be seen here—this place is a living museum of modern cri history.

Chaos and order are intertwined, the world of black and white has drifted further away, surrounded by gray areas.

Gotham’s nights never change, at least they won’t get any better.

Having worked here for thirty years, Jas Gordon has understood this deeply.

He started as a small homicide detective, beca a chief, then today’s director; as a man, his steps were arduous.

Not only is there so discrimination against n in this workplace world, but everyone also knows he’s a principled person, while truly innocent people in the city are pitifully few, everyone is more or less associated with things in the darkness.

The mayor is a regular at the Penguin Man’s Iceberg Restaurant, senators secretly sell Arkham’s drugs to Scarecrow, and the judge is the forr supervisor of Two-Faced Woman. Black Mask is even affixed to the Gotham Research Institute, brazenly using chemical plants as a front for drug manufacturing in the city.

In such a city, for him to beco the police director without getting killed sotis feels like a miracle.

But reason always reminds him that it’s not like that; it’s not a miracle, but because behind him, there’s always a shadow in the darkness.

That shadow moves through the darkness, hating evil passionately.

Things beyond the reach of the law or beyond the capability of police, she will take over. There were attempts to assassinate Gordon in the past, but there would always be a woman in a Batman Uniform to dispel their notions.

Fear.

Yes, anyone with darkness in their heart fears the Bat in the darkness; she’s ticulous, agile, everywhere, and never holds back.

When Gordon was still a captain, that Batwoman appeared for the first ti, initially for this masked vigilante, Gordon internally resisted.

You can’t say you’re a good person and expect to let you roam the city masked, beating people at will. I must see if your actions really benefit public order rather than make the city more chaotic.

In those days, Gotham far from what it is now, with cri family led by Falcone spread throughout the city, even half of the police force was crooked cops.

Drugs, smuggling, arms, slaves—they did whatever made money, with officials weaving an umbrella for them.

Gordon attempted to capture these gang mbers but always t with heavy resistance; Batwoman helped him, using violence to gather evidence, defeat officials colluding with gangs, allowing Gordon to use the law to punish them.

And finally, when Gordon had the final showdown with Falcone, the Bat shattered Falcone’s confidence, completely defeated the cri boss, bringing sunlight to Gotham.

From then on, Gordon’s attitude towards Batwoman beca one-eyed closed.

Her actions were indeed beneficial to Gotham, advantageous to its people, as for dressing like a Bat... maybe it’s a personal hobby?

Thinking back to those days, Gordon couldn’t help but reveal a slight smile...

"Captain Gordon, we heard the bank robbers were taken down by a strange woman in a Bat suit last night; what’s the police’s opinion?" Reporters encircled the police departnt doors frantically, where Gordon, still a captain, was escorting prisoners from the police car.

"Absurd! Completely absurd! Gotham has never had any strange person in a Bat tight-fitting suit." Gordon responded righteously.

"But we have footage, evidence." Unyielding, reporters claid they had concrete proof.

"Forged, all forged. I, representing Gotham City’s police departnt, express serious concern and strongly condemn this!" Gordon said firmly at once.

But after locking the prisoners away, he’d run up to the clutter room on the rooftop and secretly call Batwoman to complain, like how she blew things up again this ti, could she avoid the caras next ti?

.............

At that ti, Batwoman was still anable and restrained.

But as ti passed, Gotham erged with the news of Bat Heroine, still circulated the word. It attracted her admirers, but unfortunately all these masked people were villains and lunatics, rapidly deteriorating Gotham’s security situation.

After that, Gotham was never reported for bank robbery or house burglary but instead for catastrophic events intended to drag the entire city to Hell.

Like maniacs hiding a nuclear bomb in the city center, wanting a duel with Batwoman, or soone kidnapped hundreds in buildings to play riddles with Batwoman.

Luckily, Batwoman ultimately resolved these issues but inevitably, the city saw her opposition, thinking Batwoman attracted all the world’s villains to Gotham.
