He had been awake all night, and his heart still hurt the next day. So he had thought about going back.

However, as soon as Han Siye sent Little Jiu a ssage, telling her that he was headed back, he regretted it. He had co here with Little Jiu and had promised her father that he would protect her. What was the point of going back alone?

Han Siye knew that Su Jiu did not want to discuss this topic with him. As he looked at her fair face and closed eyes, the smile on his lips disappeared bit by bit.
What she had just said made him feel terrible.
