1229 Valentine’s Day Gift (1)
Although Su Jiu had heard Rong Si say many sweet nothings, her heart still throbbed every ti she heard it.
She had prepared this gift for a long ti.
She knew that he would love it.
Rong Si was interested. “What gift?”
Su Jiu still pretended to be mysterious. “You’ll know later where we’re going to eat. I haven’t eaten breakfast yet. I’m so hungry.”
“Didn’t eat breakfast?” Rong Si frowned. He held her face with one hand and stared at her. “Don’t do that again. It’s bad for your health.”
“Hmph, how can you scold for that when you do it too? When you’re busy, don’t you forget the ti and often skip dinner? Today, I didn’t eat because I was in a hurry to see you. I do it occasionally, but you do it so often! We can’t continue like this, so I’ll supervise your als in the future!”
Her cheeks always bulged when she was angry, like a cute pufferfish. Rong Si couldn’t help but pinch her face. “Then… I’ll have to trouble my fiancée to supervise in the future.”
“Okay. I hope you won’t find annoying when the ti cos.”
Rong Si laughed. “I can’t wait to marry you. Why would I find you annoying?”
Looking at his extrely beautiful smile, Su Jiu felt a little dizzy. It was as if she had fallen into it and could not extricate herself.
The weather was excellent today. It had snowed last night, but the bright sunlight of the morning was shining on her with a warmth that she had not felt for a long ti.
Su Jiu covered her face with a hat and mask and held hands with Rong Si as they walked into a private room in a Chinese restaurant.
As usual, Rong Si ordered her favorite dishes and watched her eat more. After making sure she was full, he stopped putting food into her bowl.
When she had eaten and drunk her fill, Su Jiu touched her full belly and felt a little distressed. She could not help but complain. “It’s all your fault. I ate too much again.”
“It’s your fault for not eating breakfast. I just want you to eat more.” Rong Si reached out and pinched her baby-fat face again. “Also, it’s not good to be too thin. It’s cuter to have so curves.”
“If I get fat, you’d hate .”
His expression suddenly beca serious. “I won’t hate you, no matter what happens.”
Su Jiu blinked. Seeing his serious expression, she suddenly laughed. “Alright, alright. I’m just teasing you. When I’m with you, of course, I have to change more and more so that others won’t have the chance to snatch you away.”
“No one will get the chance. Don’t worry!” Rong Si ruffled her hair. “Since you’re full, do you want to go for a walk?”
Every couple was snuggling and flirting with each other. The single people that passed by them felt like they were stuffed with endless dog food and imdiately stuffed to death.
Su Jiu was confused. “Why are you here? Jewelry from this brand is very expensive. You’ve already given a lot. Don’t waste money.”
