Chapter 27 – Rule 13: The Leader Does Not Get Ambushed by Villains (2)
I had all the villains I needed to catch recorded and morized.
One of them was ‘Bomber,’ a heinous criminal responsible for eleven bombing incidents.
Since he was an event villain unrelated to the main story, he beca one of my tasks to handle.
Monts ago, I spotted Bomber among the students in the distance.
As soon as I saw his face heading towards the unmanned magazine store, I reflexively recognized him.
Purple hair, sunken eyes, and a fake lip piercing.
These were so of Bomber’s disguises.
This information was recorded in my mo based on my ga knowledge.
I had worried about not being able to distinguish his in-ga appearance in real life, but I realized those concerns were unfounded. Those features were hard to miss.
‘Why is Bomber here?’
I walked casually while pondering.
Bomber usually stayed holed up in his workshop unless there was a special reason.
In the ga, whenever Bomber went out disguised among people, a bombing incident occurred.
However,
‘This is the Federation Council’s territory. If he causes an incident here, it’s like openly challenging the Federation Council. Would he do sothing so reckless?’
Bomber was a villain who wished to witness as many explosions as possible and ultimately wanted to be swept away by a massive explosion.
Even so, openly challenging the Federation Council seed excessively reckless for a third-rate villain like him.
No matter how much of a Bomber he was, he wouldn’t want to shorten his life.
‘…I should report this.’
Regardless, Bomber was a target I had to catch.
Catching him here would reduce future burdens. I’d save the transportation costs I’d spend to catch him later. That was good.
Also, an explosion in this area would cause significant damage.
I had no intention of letting that happen.
I took out my smartphone.
I was about to send a text ssage to the New Yongsan Control Center.
“……”
I paused briefly and slightly pulled the brim of my hat down to cover my eyes.
I saw Bomber secretly hiding sothing inside a magazine and then putting the magazine back on the shelf.
Though my bangs were long enough to obscure my eyes, I clearly saw his lips.
He was smiling.
He must have thought no one was watching.
If I didn’t have ga knowledge, I wouldn’t have known he was Bomber either.
‘His target is either soone around here or .’
I knew Bomber’s thods well.
If he wasn’t aiming to blow up a building, he preferred using small drone bombs. They allowed him to change the bomb’s location flexibly. However, he wouldn’t deploy a small drone in front of his target. He didn’t want to be caught.
If what he placed on the shelf was indeed a bomb, it was the final step. He would likely trigger the bomb when his target passed by the magazine store.
That’s why I judged that Bomber’s target was soone nearby.
“Vice-Leader, we’re starting disciplinary committee activities now. Follow my lead.”
“Okay.”
I gently pulled Baek-seo’s wrist towards , covering my mouth with my hand and leaned towards her ear.
I briefly summarized the situation and gave instructions. Baek-seo trembled intermittently. It was a slight movent, so I didn’t pay much attention.
Baek-seo looked at and nodded.
“I trust you.”
“You too, be careful.”
Baek-seo started moving in the opposite direction.
Alright, let’s cross one task off the list today.
* * *
His bangs were annoying.
How long had it been since he last cut his hair?
Lee Ha-min thought about this as he walked through New Yongsan Street.
Today was a historic day.
He had received an assassination contract from a big shot, and the target was the Disciplinary Committee Leader of Ahsung High School.
Today, the Disciplinary Committee Leader of Ahsung High School would fall victim to his artistic explosion. The thought sent a pleasant shiver down his spine.
Ha-min stealthily hid himself in an alley.
He had completed all the preliminary work to eliminate the Disciplinary Committee Leader.
Many would be sacrificed in the process, but Ha-min didn’t care.
It was rather convenient.
The Disciplinary Committee Leader wouldn’t ignore the safety of students.
He planned to take the entire street hostage to beat him.
‘He’s coming…!’
Ha-min smiled.
With just a press of the button on his wristwatch, the magic bomb he planted on the magazine shelf would explode.
He had specifically targeted the path Woo-jin was walking. Since Woo-jin wouldn’t recognize Ha-min in his disguise, the ambush would definitely succeed.
He didn’t expect to defeat him with just the bomb. If it caused enough damage, it would be a success.
He had prepared several bombs.
Using them, he planned to play a bomb-finding ga with Woo-jin, creating a fun scenario.
Fighting like that, he could achieve victory.
‘Alright…! Let’s have a match, Disciplinary Committee Leader!’
Ha-min couldn’t control his racing heart.
In excited anticipation, he panted, waiting for Woo-jin to pass by the unmanned store.
“Hmm…?”
The long-awaited mont.
A sudden thought crossed Ha-min’s mind.
‘Where’s Oh Baek-seo?’
He rembered that the Vice-Leader of Ahsung High School’s Disciplinary Committee, Oh Baek-seo, had been walking with Woo-jin.
She had disappeared at so point.
It would have been great to blow them up together.
Blowing up both the Disciplinary Committee Leader and the genius Oh Baek-seo would have been exhilarating.
Ha-min smacked his lips, feeling a pang of regret.
‘Well, the target is only the Disciplinary Committee Leader.’
Anyway, the designated target was only Woo-jin.
He just needed to deal with him.
Blowing up Baek-seo with his bombs would have to wait for another ti.
There was no ti for deep thought.
Soon, Woo-jin passed by the bomb.
“Alright, the ga starts now.”
Ha-min pressed the button on his wristwatch with a sly smile.
Click.
Just before the bomb went off after a brief delay.
At that mont, Woo-jin, who had been listening for the faint sound of the bomb, made a dramatic move.
“!”
