Whenever she felt a bit sad, just going to "Secret Recipe" to enjoy a serving of mille-feuille with a cup of taro balls would always restore Bai Zhi’s energy and vitality.

Now, as she tasted the delicious mille-feuille and taro balls again, Bai Zhi inadvertently looked up and found Han Feng and Xu Yan both smiling at her tenderly.

For a mont, she felt bewildered as if the tilines of two lifetis suddenly intertwined. She suddenly didn’t know what was real and what was not.

Had she returned to this place, or had her brother also traveled through ti with her?

Bai Zhi lowered her head and continued to nibble at the mille-feuille. It was cold and incredibly delicious.

"This is so tasty, senior, how is it made?"

Bai Fei was eating the mille-feuille; his eyes almost squinting from delight.

"This is an ice cream mille-feuille, also my sister’s favorite. We got separated, and I couldn’t find her despite looking everywhere. So, every place I go, I set up a Drunken Moon Restaurant. It’s just to let her know, even if I’m not there, Drunken Moon Restaurant is there with her."

Xu Yan looked tenderly at the mille-feuille, as if trying to see his sister through it.

’Even if he’s not there,’ what did that an?

Bai Zhi didn’t quite understand but didn’t ask.

"Xingxing, do you like it? I’ll bring you here often, and let Ah Yan give us a discount."

Han Feng’s gaze stayed fixed on Bai Zhi, softening considerably as he watched her eat with happiness.

"It’s tasty, just a bit too sweet. When did you co back, Brother Han Feng?"

Bai Zhi looked at Han Feng, not expecting to et him here.

"Yesterday. I was actually planning to visit you today. I’ve co back for a few days before returning for my internship. Oh, I’m already an intern doctor now."

Bai Zhi widened her eyes, sowhat in disbelief. In just three years, Han Feng had beco an intern doctor...

And wasn’t Han Feng supposed to be in business? How had he ended up becoming an intern doctor?

"Surprising, isn’t it? I’m surprised too, but you know, I’m still running a shop with Ah Yan. So, whenever you see Drunken Moon Restaurant, just walk in. I’ll reimburse you."

Han Feng wasn’t surprised by Bai Zhi’s expression because even he hadn’t expected he could achieve this.

Whenever he felt like giving up, there was only one belief in his heart: he needed to hurry, to move faster so he could co back and find Xingxing.

"Brother Han Feng is really incredible." Although puzzled why Han Feng had changed his path, many things had changed, and it seed reasonable to expect so variation.

"It’s about ti. We should be heading back, Brother Han Feng, senior, we’ll be taking our leave first."

Bai Zhi stood up and looked at Bai Fei, who was reluctant to leave. But it was indeed about ti; she still had a checkup today.

Although Bai Fei seed to be holding up fine now, Bai Zhi knew he was just trying hard to persevere.

"Yes, senior, we should head back now."

Bai Fei was sowhat regretful; the senior was really warm-hearted.

"Alright, but wait a mont, I’ve prepared gifts for you."

Xu Yan didn’t hold them back any longer, standing up to fetch three boxes from the kitchen.

"These are just a small gesture from . Take them ho to eat, but don’t overdo it or it might upset your stomach."

Xu Yan said this looking at Bai Fei, but his gaze lingered on Bai Zhi.

Bai Zhi was slightly confused, hoping it wasn’t zongzi—the salted egg yolk zongzi and various savory zongzi were her favorites but always upset her stomach.

"What are these?"

Bai Fei was quite embarrassed. It seed they were taking advantage of their kindness.

"Senior, this really makes feel embarrassed. We ate for free and now are taking these..." She felt too ashad to even look at the senior.

Bai Zhi was taken aback, her hand that was reaching out for the boxes froze because of Bai Fei’s comnt.

What was she doing, so naturally reaching out as if Xu Yan were her brother?

"How could you say that? This is for Xingxing."

Imdiately, Han Feng noticed Bai Zhi’s embarrassed gaze and quickly transferred it into Bai Zhi’s palm.

"Xingxing, I’ve eaten so much of your food, if you don’t accept this, then you are not treating as a brother.

Moreover, I’m paying for the al today, it has nothing to do with this guy, don’t worry."

Han Feng glanced at Bai Fei, wondering if Bai Fei ever knew what to say.

Bai Fei also realized what she had said, "That’s not what I ant, I..."

At that mont, her mind had gone blank, and she had blurted out the truth, forgetting that Wu Wa and Bai Zhi were there with him.

"No need, Brother Han Feng, thank you for your hospitality today, but let pay for the al."

Bai Zhi felt uncomfortable, realizing that ti really does change a lot of things, even though she remains the sa.

But so things had already changed...

Han Feng hadn’t yet spoken when Xu Yan did. He knew Bai Zhi was upset. Probably feeling particularly unpleasant, paying was her last act of defiance.

"Alright."

Bai Zhi went outside to pay, while Bai Fei stood there, not knowing what to do.

Han Feng had a cold expression, and Wu Wa didn’t utter a word throughout.

"Senior, I... I didn’t an that," Bai Fei said, feeling wronged. "I was just joking with you..."

But it was undeniable. In that mont, she felt that freeloading herself was one thing, but bringing Wu Wa and Bai Zhi along too.

She... She didn’t even know what she was thinking.

"Actually, Bai Fei, it’s okay for to treat you as a junior and invite you to eat, but saying ’freeloading’ was too much."

What did that statent imply? Was it shaful for Bai Zhi and Wu Wa to join her for the al, or were they accepting too much?

Xu Yan didn’t know how Bai Fei could have said that, perhaps she thought it was a joke, but it was too much for Bai Zhi and Wu Wa.

Moreover, it wasn’t really because of Bai Fei.

"Bai Fei, do you think because you know Xu Yan, Bai Zhi and Wu Wa are just burdens? I’ve told you I also have a share in this restaurant. Can I also say you are Xingxing’s burden?

Is Xingxing not good enough for you? And you still harbor these petty thoughts."

Han Feng saw clearly why Bai Fei had made that remark; she was discontent with Xu Yan being equally gentle to Wu Wa and Xingxing.

Bai Fei suddenly turned pale, "I didn’t, I didn’t... I was just..."

It was just a mont of pettiness, feeling sour inside, thinking she should be the one treated differently by the senior, but Wu Wa and Bai Zhi had the sa treatnt as her...

"Alright, thank you for your hospitality, let’s head back."

Bai Zhi ca in and smiled at Han Feng and Xu Yan.

"Xingxing, co over this afternoon, I’ll treat you and Wu Wa to a al."

Han Feng directly ignored Bai Fei, letting her taste that feeling.

"Okay, Brother Han Feng, we’ll definitely co."

Bai Zhi smiled and took Wu Wa out first.

Since her return, she had been quite kind to Bai Fei, but she never expected her to say such things.

Freeloading, huh. As if she was a beggar.

Even though she was still young, she was very angry at that mont.

"Ah Zhi..." Wu Wa took Bai Zhi’s hand, looking at her small form.

"Don’t worry, I’m fine, just feeling a bit cold-hearted."
