291 Reaching a Consensus

Mo Ru looked at the man in front of her. He looked angry, but there was no fear in his eyes. She teased him and stuffed her phone number into his pocket. She smiled faintly and said, “Even if you don’t let say it, it doesn’t change the truth. That’s all for today. President Lian, we’ll et again next ti.”

With that, Mo Ru pushed the man away and turned to leave. After getting into the car and confirming that no one was following her, she took out her phone and proudly called Cheng Luo, who was still waiting in the private room. “Sister, I’ve done your brother a huge favor. You have to thank properly by getting that piece of land in Jin Hai.”

“No problem.” Cheng Luo agreed readily. She sat alone in the private room and swirled the wine glass in her hand. “You’re the smartest. You knew that it would be difficult to take down Lian Jing, so you used another thod to drive a wedge between them. Now, it all depends on Cheng Huo’s performance.”

“That’s right. Of course I wouldn’t fail.” Mo Ru took out her lipstick and touched up her makeup in the car mirror. “But Lian Jing is really a stunner. I almost fell for him for real.”

Cheng Luo narrowed her eyes and smiled indifferently. “If he and Shen Yin really break up, of course you can target Lian Jing.”

Her aning was very clear. Before the two of them broke up, Cheng Luo did not want Mo Ru to get close to Lian Jing.

They had gone through a lot of trouble to set up a trap to test their relationship. But to introduce a real third-party would be too disgusting.

So that was Cheng Luo’s boundary and also a warning to Mo Ru.

Of course, Mo Ru grasped her aning. She shook her head indifferently and but did not take it to heart. Out of habit, she swallowed the words at the tip of her tongue and said what the other party wanted to hear. “I know, Miss Cheng. I wouldn’t go against your wishes. Don’t worry. Before the two of them break up, I won’t take the initiative to appear around Lian Jing again. Of course, if he calls personally, then it’s not my fault.”

Cheng Luo was silent for a mont before she smiled aningfully and said, “If Lian Jing really takes the initiative to call you, it ans he has failed the test. Then Shen Yin will definitely be my younger brother’s.”

“Very good, then we’ve reached a consensus. Miss Cheng, I’ll hang up now. I have another date tonight.” Mo Ru hung up with an sweet smile. She put away her lipstick and pursed her lips slightly, spreading the bright red pignt across her lips. They looked fresh and delicious, drawing one’s attention.

In the private room, Lian ng and Shang Sheng were waiting impatiently. But no matter how long they waited, the other three did not return.

Lian ng suddenly slamd the table in shock and said in disbelief, “Don’t tell they went ho first to continue their lovey-doviness?”

Sui Ran smiled helplessly. “No, no matter what, your brother wouldn’t leave you here alone.”

“Then where did they go?” Shang Sheng glared at Sui Ran in frustration. “It’s all your fault for letting Miss Mo leave on her own. I should be the one sending her off!”

Sui Ran glanced at him and smiled. “Where would you send her to? You’re a man, Shang Sheng. Don’t bla for not reminding you. Although you’re flirting, if you get too close to her against her wishes, you’ll be nothing but a stinky hooligan.”

“You’re the hooligan!” Shang Sheng said angrily, unconvinced. “Hurry up and call her. Sothing might have happened!”

“Huh?” Lian ng widened her eyes in disbelief and looked at Shang Sheng. “You don’t even have her number. How dare you say she’s your future girlfriend? How far ahead in the future is that? Thirty years?”

“Don’t interrupt when adults are talking!” Shang Sheng angrily snatched the cell phone from Sui Ran’s hand. He finally found Mo Ru’s cell phone number. Just as he was about to dial it, the door of the private room was suddenly pushed open from the outside.

Zhong Xin had rushed over from ho and glanced guiltily at the people in the private room who were looking at each other. “President Lian has already gone back. If you still want to stay and continue playing, feel free to do so. I’ll be in charge of sending Miss Lian ho later.”

“Oh my god! My brother really left behind and brought my sister-in-law ho first!” Lian ng slamd the table angrily. However, because she used too much strength, her palm instantly burned with pain. Fortunately, she had been in the workplace for many years and was trained to be thick-skinned. At this mont, she managed to maintain her calm and did not show any signs of embarrassnt.

However, Zhong Xin saw through her disguise. He sighed softly and said, “Miss Lian, anger is bad for your health. If you don’t want to play anymore, I can send you back now.”

Lian ng put her hands behind her back in embarrassnt. No one could see them, but her palms were already red.

“ng ng, if you still want to stay and play, we will keep you company.” Sui Ran smiled as he looked at Lian ng. She had grown even prettier after a few years absence. He was like a big brother trying his best to keep his sister company at her welco ho party.

Lian ng shrugged nonchalantly. “Forget it. I’m not in the mood today. I’ll call you guys over for dinner another day.”
