Shen Yin pushed open the door and walked into the office. She crisply saluted the chief before asking calmly, “Chief, why are you looking for ?”
The old chief gestured for her to look downstairs and went straight to the point. “I heard that Team Three arrested your father yesterday?”
“Yes.” Shen Yin nodded and said matter-of-factly, “He broke the law, so it’s reasonable for Team Three to arrest him.”
The old chief did not seem surprised by her answer. He nodded calmly and closed the window. He asked solemnly, “What do you plan to do with the mother and daughter downstairs?”
“Do you need to deal with them?” Shen Yin looked up at him in confusion. “Isn’t the law perfectly clear on how to deal with charges such as disrupting public peace and obstructing the administration of justice?”
“Do you really think so?” The old chief sat back behind his desk. Seeing that she really had no intention of using her position for personal gain, a gratified smile appeared on his serious face. “I really chose the right person, but you should go down and et them.
