Shen Yin saw that Shen Nian was about to throw himself on the dagger that was threatening him. She scread until she was hoarse as tears spilled from her eyes. Blood seeped from her wrist, but she still could not break free.
Shen Nian looked in Shen Yin’s direction and gave a determined smile. But his eyes were filled with reluctance.
A gunshot suddenly rang out and made everyone freeze.
Lian Jing’s hand that was holding the gun trembled slightly. At the critical mont, just as Shen Nian was about to hit the dagger, he forced himself to calm down and shot, breaking the hand of the man who was gripping Shen Nian.
The bullet only missed Shen Nian’s head by a milliter. There was no room for error.
But he still managed to stop Shen Nian. He frowned tightly, tightened his grip on the pistol, and ordered, “Shen Nian, run.”

Lian Jing did not say anything. He stuffed Shen Yin into the car, pressed down on the back of her head, and kissed her hard. The joy of regaining what he had lost almost drowned him and he had to express it sohow.
After a long ti, his racing heart finally cald down. He let go of Shen Yin and patted her back to calm her down.
Shen Yin gently leaned her head on his shoulder and whispered into his ear. Only then did she realize that her voice was so hoarse that she was almost unable to speak.
“Thank you for saving ,” Shen Yin said in a hoarse voice.
Lian Jing’s eyes softened. “I’ll always save you. You heartless girl.”
Shen Yin blushed. Thinking of Shen Nian, she hurriedly looked out of the car and saw an unfamiliar woman standing beside Shen Nian.

All the excitent instantly receded like a tide.
She felt frozen and she could not help but shiver. She struggled to get out of Lian Jing’s embrace. “It’s better for us to maintain a distance.”
“Maintain a distance again!” Lian Jing squeezed her shoulders, wishing he could crush her and eat her up. He wanted to see if she would still say anything about maintaining her distance.
The atmosphere had been perfect just now. He could not figure out why Shen Yin had suddenly turned cold again.
“Lian Jing.” Shen Yin looked up at him calmly. “I’m very grateful that you saved Shen Nian and I, but since you have soone else, you should focus on her. I won’t disturb your lives, but please return Nian Nian to .”
In the future, Lian Jing would still have children with others, but she only had Shen Nian. Even if he had saved her, she could not give in when it ca to Shen Nian’s custody.
She thought that Lian Jing would instantly release her and draw a line with her after realizing that she had found out about that woman’s existence. However, the man tightened his grip on her arm.
When she grew short of breath and wriggled uncomfortably in his arms, he lowered his head and whispered into her ear. He gritted his teeth and said, “Shen Yin, are you an idiot? Are you really ignorant of how I feel, or did you never intend to be serious about ?”
Shen Yin struggled to break free from him and said coldly, “I know you treat very well, but I can’t share my man with others. Since you’ve already chosen soone else, please let go and stop pestering .”
Lian Jing had originally planned to angrily question his position in Shen Yin’s heart, but when he suddenly heard her say “my man”, his heart fluttered. There was a hint of joy in the corners of his eyes. “I’m your man? Huh?”
Shen Yin blushed and realized that she had said the wrong thing, but she did not regret it. Anyway, she had already made up her mind to give him out. No matter how insistent he was, he could not change her mind.

Lian Jing looked at her serious expression in amusent. He smiled and hugged her tightly again despite her resistance. He explained kindly, “Don’t be angry. The person who called you is my biological sister, not so other woman. I only have you. You heartless woman.”
