172 Preparation for the Banquet
Shen Luo thought that it would take a lot of effort to get close to Lian Jing. She had not expected Lian Jing to readily agree to bring her out alone at night. She imdiately said in surprise, “Alright, President Lian. I’ll work hard.”

Shen Luo imdiately stood up excitedly and raised her head proudly. She snorted at her colleague, who had bullied her all day, and walked out of the building with Zhong Xin.
After settling so docunts, Lian Jing looked at the ti on his watch and sent Shen Yin a ssage. “Have you finished work?”
Shen Yin was sitting in a police car, on her way with the others to celebrate solving the case. When she saw the ssage, she quickly replied, “I’m done with work. I’m going to have a celebratory drink.”
Lian Jing frowned and wanted to tell her not to go, but when he thought about how he had to deal with that troubleso woman tonight, he changed his mind and replied, “Don’t drink so much. Send the address. I’ll pick you up later.”
He waited and waited, but Shen Yin did not send him another ssage. His expression instantly darkened. He stood up coldly, buttoned his suit with one hand, and strode into the elevator.
