118 Stop Halfway
Lian Jing was both angry and amused. He walked back and pried open Shen Yin’s fingers one by one. He simply lifted her up and carried her into the bathroom.
After closing the bathroom door, he placed her on the vanity counter and turned to fill the bathtub. He tested the temperature of the water.
Shen Yin did not dare to look him in the eye.
The dim light from the bathroom shone on the man’s bare upper body, adding a hint of sexiness to his tanned skin. However, this man did not sense it. He walked around in front of her as if he wanted her to look at him from all angles.
Shen Yin cursed in a low voice, “Demon.”

Lian Jing turned off the shower and imdiately turned to look at her. “What did you say?”
“N-nothing.” Shen Yin looked away guiltily and stamred, “Didn’t you just ask to wash your upper body? You didn’t even take off your pants, so why did you turn on the shower?”
Lian Jing smiled. “You’re displeased that I kept my pants on?”
Shen Yin glared at him and imdiately shut her mouth, grinding her teeth in hatred.
By now, Lian Jing was in a good mood from teasing her. He picked up the towel hanging at the side, wet it under the shower, and stuffed it into her hand. He said infuriatingly. “Co on, since you’re so anxious.”
Shen Yin angrily took the towel and viciously rubbed his chest until the skin turned red. She seed prepared to scrub his skin off.
However, Lian Jing did not even frown. He lowered his eyes and stared at her adorable and angry look. He was as smug as if he had eaten a spoonful of honey.
He gulped and could not help but reach out to hold her small hand that was taking revenge on his chest. He slowly pulled her hand downwards.
Shen Yin struggled to retract her hand, but Lian Jing said matter-of-factly, “How can you just scrub the chest? This area needs scrubbing too.”
He spoke so lasciviously and deliberately breathed in her ear. Then, he evilly watched her, like an animal trapped in his arms.
The steam in the bathroom caused her to flush. Their irregular breathing intertwined in the narrow space. To her, this was no longer a simple bathroom, but a battlefield between her and Lian Jing.
Under Lian Jing’s continuous attacks, Shen Yin gradually abandoned her armor.
Her eyelashes trembled slightly, and her eyes were wet from the moisture. He held her small hand and made it circle his abdon. She could still feel his tension and heat through the hot towel.
Veins gradually appeared on Lian Jing’s arms. Looking at the woman who was rarely so obedient, a certain part of his body was completely energized. He panted heavily and could no longer stand her small hands touching his body. He grabbed her chin and kissed her hard.
Shen Yin’s eyes suddenly widened, and the towel in her hand fell to the ground. She raised her hand to push his shoulders, but he grabbed it and wrapped it around his neck.
His large hand gently rested on her waist. His hot lips were pressed tightly against hers, like thirsty beast reaching into her mouth for water.
He took her hand and placed it on his chest, letting her feel his frantic heartbeat.
Lian Jing reluctantly let go of her lips and pressed his forehead against hers. His deep eyes held a ferocious beast that was about to be unleashed. “Shen Yin, if you don’t want to be my bed partner, I’ll be yours, okay?”
Shen Yin’s last bit of rationality reminded her that she should run away, but the man was too close. His unique masculine scent assaulted her, and her last rational thought vanished.
She maintained her posture and lowered her voice. “Lian Jing, I don’t want to impulsively get together with soone. We should be very careful with our relationship. This is also our responsibility to Nian Nian.”
“What does it have to do with Nian Nian?” Lian Jing could not help but lower his head to block her mouth again. However, Shen Yin turned her head to avoid him. The romantic atmosphere dissipated a little. Lian Jing looked at her unhappily. “You want to stop now?”
Shen Yin pursed her lips and the heat on her face gradually faded. She looked at the man and found it difficult to speak. “Lian Jing, I can’t just hand myself over to you like that. I have no status. I’m just a guest in the Lian residence. How can a guest climb into the master’s bed?”
Lian Jing wanted to ignore what she was saying. He only knew that he would go crazy if he did not have this woman now!
However, it was one thing to want to ignore sothing. Whether he ought to ignore it was a different matter entirely.
He glared at her with reddened eyes and turned around in frustration. He took a few deep breaths and barely suppressed the heat in his chest. He turned to look at Shen Yin, his eyes regaining clarity and rationality. “You an you want to marry ?”
Shen Yin’s heart skipped a beat. She was so embarrassed that she refused to look at him. She did not know whether to nod or not. She could only stare blankly at a spot on the wall.
Lian Jing frowned in confusion. “I haven’t been good enough to you?”
Shen Yin lowered her eyes slightly, as if she had expected him to say this. Her heart sank bit by bit. She opened her mouth with difficulty and realized that her throat was hoarse and her voice grated on her ears. “I don’t want this kind of goodness.”
